I don’t understand how Cigna is hiring for customer service agents when a mass layoff was just done, along with possible upcoming layoffs with IFP/Evicore? Like why not move over the agents who are at risk of losing their job to the customer service department the company is hiring for? What’s the point in hiring others when you have internal people with experience? Why are we hiring anyways with current layoffs? I don’t understand the moves this company is making. Nothing makes sense anymore.

I’m currently working at another bank and it’s getting so bad. Considering internal audit at Edward Jones.

I know that store closings happen throughout the year, but what about layoffs? I've heard they happen each and every January but can't find much about outside of that.

Meaning, has anybody heard anything about layoffs lately?

He's built an empire costing several million dollars including his own cost to the firm, gotten himself and Citi into a lawsuit...what else?

We've been weighed down by margin pressure quite a bit. General population will continue to be VERY cautious given all the sh-t that's going on in the country and inte world. Plus this case of a lingering fallout from the botched Albertsons merger - it's a messed up mix of bad things. Now, I wander, how much suffering will be directed towards the employee. I hope for the better, but i am increasingly losing that hope.

That's it that's my post. Somehow we lost this. I think all of us have a hunch why.

Some MD's have saved their bootlickers by moving them around to other people under Nawani but data team members n Markets and Banking and International has been hit. That's all I know.. Not sure who or how many or what titles

I have heard from several people in the industry that Medtronic has become a known quantity. Candidates are turning down offers and recruiters are struggling to fill roles because everyone knows what it is like to work here.

Have people already been notified?

The only consistent message quarter to quarter is revenue declining faster than forecast. The stock price falling into the single digits says everything. If you’ve listened to this company’s analyst calls long enough you know management just pivots to whatever narrative works in the moment and they’re running out of narratives faster than revenue streams. Easily the worst management team this company has ever had.
