Why can't you accept another job while on Admin Leave?
Unless you land a big position at a big firm, how will they find out? An opportunity can come before the 60 days, and you would be forced to pass to hold out for the severance.

I'm not going to be surprised if in the future that's no longer an option. After all, it's not mandated by law, so I can definitely see this leadership deciding it's no longer "in the company's best interest" to keep paying it.
