BofA Annual Report

Big Head Brian states: "As a financial institution, our success has always been, and always will be, dependent on the success of our clients, the strength of our communities and the WELLBEING OF OUR EMPLOYEES. Hmmm

Childcare

Anyone having issues securing childcare? Had an after school program 2 days a week, and daughter rides her bike home the other 2 days since I’ve been WFH (but she wouldn’t be able to do that when I RTO- too young to be home alone). The after school... — read more

Metlife Long Term Disability?

Any advice on dealing with Metlife for LTD? I saw a post a couple of weeks ago about Sedgwick for STD. I am about to transfer from STD to LTD and am very nervous. I have been told by others that every claim is automatically denied, they lose... — read more

Jax Building 600

I'm still not going into the building. Any one who was called back last week any comments about the return?

RTO- Cube space, Hybrid & Return unvaxed too!

RTO- not going back until they announce hybrid and require all to return (including unvaxed). And they need to figure out the lack of space between cubes.. the bank doesn’t seem to understand that there’s a new norm and being that close to a peer all... — read more

Sunday Night Blues

Yep today might be Friday, but in 2 days you know what will happen, the Sunday night blues. When you realize you gotta get to bed early, so you can wake up Monday morning and fight the traffic all the way to your cubicle.

Accountability

Will managers hold accountability if Q1 earning down?

WFH program still active?

Can anyone shed some light on if we still can request/have the ability to WFH? I work in a branch and myself and family are very high risk, I care for my grandfather who is 92 years old and I’m just nervous being exposed every day.

Stable workforce

**Bank of America reported record profits last year even as it upped spending on employee day care and mental health. You regularly award stock to rank-and-file employees — at a cost of $3.3 billion so far — and your hourly minimum wage is now $21... — read more

Need Flat Reporting Structure

If global markets business has more flat reporting structure, we will see less aminostrative overhead and better earnings.

How many people have really decided not to RTO?

I wasn’t called back to the office, but I’m hearing from my coworkers that the buildings are still pretty empty. Are people really standing their ground and simply not showing up? Or have that many people gotten medical exemptions? If you were called... — read more

New app to improve customer service

So, BofA will roll all of its product lines into one app. I'm interested in hearing your comments. Here is the article https://www.emarketer.com/content/bank-of-america-launch-all-in-one-app-attract-generation-investors

Too Many Managers

Global markets have too many managers, especially middle level managers. It is extremely inefficient and soon will hurt profitability of global markets business.

Today’s the day

Walked in, swiped badge, bought coffee and left. Will do this a few times a week until I find a fully remote job.

Clueless continue to be clueless

To show our appreciation for your continued hard work, here's some free food. When will SLT realize we're not in grade school where a pizza party is adequate compensation for hard work?!

BofA didn't count on so many not coming back

I am surprised by the number of colleagues who refuse to return to the office and who would rather accept a slightly worse offer than the RTO. Is BofA prepared for a scenario like this? Because, it seems to me that the leadership did not expect... — read more

RTO March 1st

WW3 - Get Ready

What happens to those who don't RTO

If you don't return to office March 1st, what will happen? I feel like they can't fire that many employees at once without repurcussions. Or will it be like reporting the vax status and nothing will happen?

Masks at the office? Cdc changing recommendations

Seems the cdc is ready to change mask guidance. Will we be required to wear masks if the cdc drops this? It will be good to finally stop it since everyone in the office is vaccinated in order to RTO.

Vaccination credits don't hit our paystubs until April

If you and your spouse decided to get vaccinated, you won't see credit for that on your paystubs until April. Yet another way the bank is nickel and diming the folks who decide to leave after bonus season. And another poorly communicated "gotcha!"... — read more

Getting tired of this...

Give it up already

RTO is here to stay. There's nothing you can do to change that at this point. Short of Russia invading the U.S., there'll be no more delays, exemptions, or whatever else you can think of in hopes work from home will return. This has been decided. How... — read more

It’s amazing that we are leaders of technology but we can’t offer or extend work from home to those that do not want to return to the office

We pride ourselves on innovation and removing people at branches for iPads and automation, but then vehemently oppose allowing people to continue flexibility in their daily jobs for those that want it by working from home. Do executives not... — read more
