It’s not company wide so phase 1 people don’t get it. I’m curious 👀

UKI Town Hall
For those sensible enough to miss this, it was an hour of “John Smith, Fred Bloggs, Mavis Fritter…… all doing a fantastic job”. Next account, same script. Never knew there were so many accounts!
Nothing about pay reviews. Apparently everyone (except a few in Ireland) are all working above and beyond, so message from Captain DA was to work harder so he can get a few more DXC gilets. No Q&A as everyone knew what the topic would be.
Regulatory Hub: Client Summary
Seeing a lot of confusion today around a meeting titled “Regulatory Hub: Client Summary”, large group invited, many people replying they don’t know why they’re included.
Given the recent org updates, people seem a bit on edge. Anyone know what this is about?
Strange Question....about Questions
I have an odd question, and I'm not sure who to take it to. I've been with my team for about 10 months, we're spread all over the U.S. and a fairly small team. I have no one with me in the office I report to. I've noticed that questions about projects we're engaged with do not seem to be welcomed. I almost feel like I'm getting a sigh and an eye roll or a curt non answer when I ask them. In my defense, these are all ad hoc projects, and not like there are documented procedures I can refer to in order to answer for myself and the initial instructions given are always scant and haphazard. The no questions thing is just not a culture I'm used to and I'm wondering if there's any insight or suggestions.
Thelayoff - OpenText
OpenText is pretty much a closed shop in regards to what is happening. Thank you to those people on here who are close to what is happening and know dates/BU etc and continue to share that information. Even though it is never good news, it is good to have that insight, please continue sharing information that is factually on point 👍
Acronyms
For those of us scoring at home, acronyms can be challenging while reading posts. Would other posters be kind enough to spell out the department names? Please? Not everyone knows every department. It would be a kindness. Having said that, what is CX and FOS? These were mentioned in recent posts.
Town halls
I can't wait for town halls in other departments where the management will somehow explain how this is good for the company and the people, how great of an opportunity this is. They will of course address all the questions submitted by us
Another omg CF Connect
What actually is this ?! ELT trying to cause a panic or failing at slapstick?
Kept yet cant sleep with this uncertainty... Asking to utilize this thread for any communications regarding the 9 am meetings....
Yep, couldn't sleep all evening with this in the forefront of my mind. Assume this to be a similar state for many of you... Wishing us all the best, yet not sure a decision can be adjusted at this point...
Genuinely curious
Noticing a pattern lately where a lot of the heavy lifting gets done by individual contributors, and then the narrative shifts upward when it’s time to present outcomes.
Genuinely curious—why does this keep happening, especially at the D and SVP levels? Is it visibility, communication gaps, or something more structural?
Would be great to hear how others have seen this handled (or fixed) in their orgs.
Curious
Is there anyone from
Worldpay here that can offer some insight into what kinds of communications they are receiving from their leadership?
MSU Biz Ops “Kickoff”
What the heck was that?
A kickoff neatly three months into the year?
It’s hard to take a company seriously that preaches productivity when they waste a half-hour showing slides of updated organizational charts since the big layoff.
It was the same old tired, “more communication”, “career development”, and “employee recognition” promises that never happen. Oh wow, cheap junk from the Canon Spotlight catalog site, just what everyone wants! Career development = more time to watch cr-ppy courses on Canon Learning, seriously? The material on that site is absolute garbage. More communication = monthly mass town hall meetings that nobody understands what is being discussed.
Get someone else to host your call
If you can't pause your sniffling long enough to stay something, or mute your mic fast enough so that everyone else on the call doesn't have to hear it. Seriously, offload that responsibility until you are no longer forcing the entire call to hear you sniff every 10 seconds.
I'll never trust Schwab again
I still think about a meeting where they told us we were crushing our goals. The vibe was good, people were relaxed, and it actually felt like things were going right for a change. Then a week later, half the team was gone. It’s hard to believe anything they say after something like that.
"We're not on a hiring freeze"
What an absolute lawyer type statement and I'll say it - it's a lie. We are on a hiring freeze and you know it. Be sure to add that little part about contractors too. Counting that one grain of salt on a beach and saying the beach is made of salt is what you and the rest of the clown show are doing. One req here and there for an EIC or sales person doesn't move the needle forward.
This explains everything about CVX
I’ve long believed corporate speak was the sign of an empty mind…

OHAI Change Freeze
A change freeze is starting on the 24th. No clear reason why in the email.
‘Indefinite customer-specific change freeze, focusing on High Touch (HT) customers first, and expanding to others in the coming days/weeks’
Good luck 🫡
slack and email issues this morning
a lot are experiencing issues connecting to slack and emails ( not everyone ) , maybe they are testing the ki-l switch when layoffs starts , weird it didnt affect everyone
Next JE period?
Any word on the next date for JE’s?
Food certification
I don't know who's over food certification testing but there is so many people in my club that expired it's ridiculous and I need to be tested and everytime I ask management they say we will get back to you
Actual News?
For people spreading fear and information always remember Karma will get back to you. There is a lot at stake for a lot of people out here. So can we please for once share any reliable information if anyone has any?
Future of LSPs and agency service personnel???
What does the future look like for the thousands and thousands of agency staff who have made Allstate their career? With the numerous changes coming to the EA in 2027, is an agent expected to just lock the doors should a customer walk up or refuse mail that may look like a payment? Has anyone thought this through? How will this be communicated to customers?
50% in office for hybrid employees....what a joke
If you wanted less work done in the office, more communicating/chit chat/wasting time. That's what you'll get. Add on the added costs for employees, pets who will now be unattended after spending 6 years with their owners at home...I'm sure that will go great for everyone!
Can't wait for this to backfire like every other decision leadership seems to make lately.
We're #2! We're #2! We're #2!
UMR
So RJ has known that United Healthcare was in negotiation with Corewell hospitals (Michigan). Corewell wants 30% increase in payments over the next 3 years.
RJ didn't bother to tell Southfield participants this till NOW. Not even during open enrollment!!!
All Corewell Hospitals are/will no longer be in network. Maybe negotiations will come to an agreement, maybe not.
RJ HR dropped the ball because Southfield so much smaller?
Errrrr
Avaya Nexus?
Can some explain wha the heck this even is without all the ridiculous jargin on the website and launch announcements?
This headline is incomprehensible:
“Avaya Nexus: Announcing The Security-First Voice Platform For Mission Critical Teams”
Another example: “ Avaya Nexus™, a companion product for Avaya Infinity, is specifically designed for no-fail, highly-regulated environments including emergency services, defense, government, healthcare, financial services, and public utilities.”
A companion product that does what? And fixes what problem? The marketing is awful
What's going on?
C'mon people, share credible info if you have it. Everything I've seen is all over the place. Zero communication from upstairs, which is inconsiderate and sh---y in and of itself. Many of us may not like this job, but we all need that damn paycheck. Have you seen the job market lately?
Where the heck are the 2026 RSU
the others have vested but we haven't received communication about 2026 being issued to our accounts.
Are they hoping we just forget
Criteria For recent events 3.16?
What was the corporate message, your departments message, verses reality.
Location?
Title?
Remote?
Badge swipes?
Recent unexplained negative review?
Work being shifted away just before?
Took a package?
Mum is the word
I'm to the point that I don't speak unless i absolutely have to. Who wants to be corrected or one-upped anytime a statement is made.. Then there are those that will try to mind-f*ck you at every turn.
Besides, if you don't speak then someone can't accuse you of being negative just because you threaten their ego or it's something they don't like. Now I just let them do their own thing and I do mine with the least amount of communication possible between us. I have nothing to offer them and they are of little value to me.
What date? What to do?
Does anyone know the final date now?
It’s getting very unproductive in the sense there is no clarity to do or to not do any work?
Still no update on Pulse? Hearing it is being updated based on new feedback
Does anyone have any updates to this?
Ford plans on improving supplier relations.
Just like improving quality. Don’t hold your breath suppliers, you have heard this before.
In recent years, Ford hasn't exactly had the greatest relations with its suppliers - at least, according to the Plante Moran North American Automotive OEM - Supplier Working Relations Index (WRI) Study - as it ranked next to last among all OEMs in both 2024 and 2025. Then, last summer, The Blue Oval altered its contracts as a way to offset the impacts of tariffs - forcing suppliers to sign more stringent terms, ditch the ability to opt out of their contracts each year, and in exchange, they received new business and tariff cost relief.
Now, Ford is aiming to improve its challenged relations with suppliers, according to Crain's Detroit Business. At an annual event held late last month, Ford supply chief Liz Door reportedly told the company's suppliers that The Blue Oval intends to begin providing them with a three-year outlook for its vehicle plans, a move aimed at helping suppliers better plan for future launches, production volumes, and discontinuations.
This is a notable change given the fact that Ford suppliers have spent the last few years essentially not knowing what the automaker was planning to do, amid many powertrain strategy shifts - and it also signals that the automaker is more confident in its forthcoming plans as well. Additionally, Ford is launching what Door calls a “two-way scorecard” and a “help desk,” which are intended to “simplify and accelerate problem resolution” for suppliers.
“In response to supplier feedback, and as part of ongoing efforts to enhance transparency and strengthen trust, we plan to work closely with suppliers so they can optimize their own planning,” Door said. “This approach has the potential to simplify processes and drive improvements in overall quality, benefiting both Ford and our supplier network. Strengthening supplier relationships remains a core focus for Ford."
So this is why we are getting jackets...

New world salad champion
I thought John Bruno was the master of the word salad …. But KK is the new champion. Any idea what she actually said in her monologue
NAR availability HOUSECALLS
Anyone notice they don't have availability listed on their NAR excel sheet that they email each Monday am? Mine only goes until end of May 2026 and should be for 64 weeks. I noticed this a few weeks ago and other provider IDs were still showing availability.
New Plans 2.0
The new wireless 2.0 Wireless plans are suppose to the best since sliced butter! OMG, what a joke, confusion and more trying to use them in OPUS for sales! Then consumer looses money if they have trade and don’t go to higher plans! Boy oh boy, over seas call centers gonna be over loaded‼️
2 weeks later
Did everyone see that thoughtful message that came thru Teamworks last week about the United States and Israel attacking Iran and starting a full fledged war?
Yeah me neither.
When will SB go?
Downgrading again of credit rating. Poor results. Low employee morale. Late implementation of integration activities (all sales were supposed to be on new CRM by April now it is only the US). Moving people to low-cost location but they can’t or won’t recruit in time. CFO who presided over millions of loss in LEX. Confusion over new organisation. No clear communication of who is doing what and new process. Unethical practices with suppliers and no paying them. CMO flying all over the world for no reason and yet no inflation raises for anyone. Inconsistent AI strategy. Unclear compensation plans. Stock declining. There may be other things ….
summary of posts
doubt LT or HR is reading posts from this site, but they probably should
regardless, maybe they'll stumble here and read this 4 sentence summary from the last 14 days of posts here.
yes, they should be getting a rolling 14 day feed to their inbox daily, but probably can't figure out how to do that, or if they even care, tbh
well, here it is anyway:
The Nike employee community is currently defined by a profound sense of anxiety and a breakdown in trust, as workers brace for rumored "March-April" layoffs.
Morale has plummeted due to a perceived lack of clear communication from leadership and a declining stock price that employees feel reflects mismanagement.
Many staffers report extreme burnout and a toxic environment, leading some to openly wish for voluntary severance packages just to escape the company.
Ultimately, the consensus reveals a workforce that feels undervalued and deeply pessimistic about Nike's future identity and stability.
