Retiring vs Laid off?

Why do some announce they are retiring but you can tell it seems forced? Does upper leadership tell these people they are being laid off and then lie to everyone about the real reason? I have seen this in at least 4 people in the last year. At first I thought confidence but it doesn’t make sense, especially with departure date. Anyone have insight? How is it legal to let someone say they are retiring when they are really being laid off?

Delay in earnings date...

Hmmm Maybe something is afoot. Usually by now the earnings date would of been announced. Perhaps there is something that is just taking a little more time to draft and run by the board? We have been distancing our earnings to get far away from Insight's earnings to avoid dragging the stock down, but this seems quite unusual. They su-k and so do we, but what do you all think? what's the word? where's the beef?

Packages?

So sorry for those who have been impacted this round so far. Any insights on the package they are offering this round of lay offs? I know previous layoffs were two weeks of severance for each year of service. Is it still the same?

RSU Values JG14-17

Does anyone know what the typical value of RSU grants are once you hit JG14 and then 15, 16, and 17? I’ve heard $25k annual grants starting at JG14 but unsure if that’s correct?

Thanks for the insight!

Layoffs in BOET?

More and more chatter that there will be layoffs in the BOET org. Several executives have already been reassigned to other organizations, and that is usually a tell tale sign that there are big reorgs and reductions on its way.

Also, a flurry of "secret" off-site meetings.

Anyone with more insight?

SAP Q1 2026 results

SAP will release its Q1 2026 results on April 23, at around 10:05 PM CEST.
I think these results will tell a lot about current situation and 'mitigation' measures.
Somebody here wrote about expected not-so-good results... Any insight?

Where are the CVS WARN notices?

Hey everyone, I’ve been keeping a close eye on the layoff situation at CVS, but I’ve noticed something strange: there haven't been any major WARN notices filed lately. Given the restructuring talk we heard last year, I’m trying to make sense of this.

Does the lack of filings mean the company is actually doing well and the 'efficiency' goals were met without more cuts? Or is this a sign that the broader economy is stabilizing? I’d love to hear if anyone inside the company has insight into whether more rounds are coming or if we're finally in the clear.
