Coming from Ansys, Ansys had very few layoffs over the years. Acquisition by synopsys is the worst thing.

I heard there are some layoffs happening in the North America offices, maybe other locations too. Verification and Implementation AEs are impacted. Not sure if any R&D impacted as well.

Heard total 50~80 people mostly senior AEs and few other non-performers. I personally know 12 people and heard about the rest.
