I've never seen anything like it. The leadership is full of people who have no business being in their roles. They've been promoted beyond their ability and they're just making it up as they go. They've created a culture where people just follow along to protect their paychecks. Anyone with real pride in their work would be miserable here. The only reason I'm still here is they pay me well enough to just go through the motions.

A simple truth about where we're headed
I've been watching things deteriorate for a while now and it's very clear it's getting messier and more chaotic by the day. And I don't see it getting better any time soon. I think the best thing anyone can do is walk away. There's no future here.
Biggest career mistake
Coming to Centene was the worst decision I've ever made. I was thrilled when they offered me the position. Now I wish I'd never taken it.
4 things that describe this “leadership” and reasons why the company is circling the drain
Extreme Scapegoating & "The Other"
- A hallmark of bad leadership, such as the arrogance exhibited by leaders at failed companies like AT&T is deflecting personal and strategic failures onto external factors, internal rivals, or entire departments, fostering a culture of paranoia and blame.
Absolutist Fanaticism
- Many executives driving companies into ruin stubbornly refuse to pivot. They mistake their own inflexible dogma for visionary genius, leading organizations into bankruptcy or scandal.
Totalitarian Control Over Dissent
- Leaders of toxic corporate cultures actively suppress internal feedback, surround themselves with "yes-men," and retaliate against whistleblowers. This inevitably isolates the C-suite from reality, creating blind spots that allow organizational fraud or collapse
Cult of Personality Over Competence
- Narcissistic leaders, like John Stink of AT&T, frequently prioritize personal charisma, media hype, and public relations over building sustainable, operational business models
The complete list of problems
Let me list what's wrong here. Incompetent leadership. No honesty from the top. Managers who promise one thing and deliver another. A terrible culture. Fear driven by constant cuts. And the only people who get ahead are the ones who know someone. Am I forgetting anything?
Stankey cost AT&T $106 billion!!
Stankey cost the company $100+ billion over his career.
Here are the smart business decisions he made:
Bought DirectTV for $67 billion in 2015
Bought WarnerMedia for $108 billion in 2018
Sold WarnerMedia for $43 billion in 2022
Sold DirectTV for $26 billion in 2025
Net loss over these deals is $106 billion
Here is what we should have bought:
T-Mobile in 2015 for $45 billion in 2015
Level 3 Communications for $34 billion in 2016
CenturyLink for $55 billion in 2016
DISH Network for $35 billion in 2017
Net valuation gain would be $182 billion for AT&T.
This would have moved AT&T’s spot on the Fortune 100 to the top 10 and position us alongside companies like Alphabet and Microsoft. Current we are ranked 32. Our employee headcount would have increased to 240,000 instead of the current 133,000 and the 80,000 target. AT&T would have likely be the #1 U.S. wireless carrier instead of being #3 behind T-Mobile and Verizon. Our share price would have been roughly $45 instead of $22.
Stankey talks a big game. He says that our #1 priority is fiber investment and convergence. That he wants to make AT&T market based. But he never tells you what AT&T could or should have been if he and Randall did not ruin it. When confronted with any serious question at a town hall he deflects with “convergence” or “fiber investment”.
I have been in Texas my whole life and I know a con when I see one. We call that “big hat no cattle”.
JP the clown 🤡🤡🤡
A pointless organisation (GVS)
Led by a pointless guy (JP)
An all hands that should have been an email. Cringe worthy fake enthusiasm, as a business do better no one cares about his favourite food, Greece or any statue
We deserve terrible leaders when we ask terrible questions
Sad thing
This is very sad that most of the companies are adapting to new tech like AI and laying off due to improvements but at FIS a "BIG BANKING PRODUCT" related company people are being laid off due to poor management
Is anybody else really tired of seeing the wrong people getting promoted?
The kiss-as--s, the sycophants, those with relatives and friends in high positions... Skill and experience need not apply. Wells Fargo was never the best place to work, but it was certainly better when we had some chance of progressing our career based on merit. We're nothing but a joke now.
CEO Letter of "Corporate Responsibility Report" B$
https://newsroom.intel.com/corporate/ceo-letter-2025-26-intel-corporate-responsibility-report
As always, Intel CEO (or Mr. Ronery) is just full of word-salads, nothing in this letter mentions anything actionable nor shows any results of actions taken in the last 1+ year of his leadership. Just a lot of marketing talk and tries to show a tough stance on whatever "Corporate responsibility" is at Intel.
This guy is a clown along with the clowns he has hired from other companies (qualcomm and co). I'm glad i left this Circus when i had the chance, Intel is a sinking ship and will continue to lose leadership in the long run. Hopefully Intel goes bankrupt and we can put this horrible legacy to bed. Intel no longer leads and the world no longer needs Intel, the Industry has shown it does not need Intel anymore.
The world is better off without Intel.
Congrats Geoff!
You did it!!! You managed to find someone in Skip who’s d-mber and even less competent than you are. Bet that feels good
Bill and Kelly worst CEOs in the history of America
Who wants to submit them to the Guinness book of WR? How can you destroy 2 top 10 banks? Unreal!
IT LT+1
It goes without saying that LC has lost the whole function. Only 10% of the 150 or so people responded to his survey. Hardly anybody shows up to his in person townhalls so they’re just all virtual.
I just browsed around that list and also noticed that CS is now a GM for his EPMO work. It’s truly amazing the level of talent that has completely fell off the cliff. There are so many new GM and directors now, while the worker bees are shipped off to ENGINE and MSSC. There’s nobody to manage here.
If I compare the days of ITSD (JG RIP, RS, the lady LC) - the knowledge of actual IT versus who we have in KG for ITOF is night and day. We have decided to overpay incompetent IT people while pushing out people who actually knew technology.
And don’t get me started on platform GMs. SB as a subsurface GM was certainly not on anybody’s bingo card.
Just burn it all down.
What a waste.
Having worked for this company for many years, I can’t tell you enough about all the “fluff” six-figure upper leadership roles that are simply created to promote up, and aren’t even needed.
Wasted money. And here we are.
About time to clean out remnants of SW wrecking ball crew
Fiserv cannot afford to keep ineffective, incompetent, inexperienced VPs! Waste of $$$$. They warm their seats, collect a nice salary and add no value. Their staff runs the ship without them - why keep them?? Their resume speaks for themselves - no real leadership or industry experience or knowledge and they don’t care about us or our clients! Someone explain WHY in the heck they get to take advantage of Fiserv?! We are dying here! Someone take responsibility!!! Let’s win back our reputation!
PWM Call
I can’t believe these people are the leadership.
Work feels
I don’t want to do any work, clearly why should we work when Sarah doesn’t give a damn about anyone but greedy self.
Sarah is a character she talks about the struggles of her mother and what she did for her on LinkedIn for Mother’s Day. Than she does this. Come on do better and stop being fake.
Medtronic Corp dev has to be the d-mbest group in the world
Is anyone fed up with the rampant stupidity of this group? Forget diligence because that would mean they would need to actually work but what loser approved cerevasc? That company is a scam and these mo--ns in corp dev are clueless who keep repeating the same old tricks again and again to drive the company into the ground
We are back baby!
Down another 50% in last year, now back to 2017 pricing. Tragicomic Q3 results puts this abject clownshow near 130 by EOD.
When your "operating model" is to find the most enthusiastically incompetent, dishonest, lazy "leaders" available and give them absolute control over sales, marketing, and service delivery...
FU-K DELL!!!
Fu-k this shiithole company and its shiithole leadership bunch of greedy, incompetent, a--holes!! Dell is the worst company in the industry for employees. Do the bare minimum, nothing more. They do not care about the employees at all!
Layoffs, are you kidding?
They can't keep people it is such a terrible company to work for and ever since the Rentokill mess, it's worse. The techs can't do their jobs efficiently since their planners clearly don't understand a map or distance. They schedule 6 8-10 stops that are 20 miles apart and mandate the amount of time you have to spend at each stop. The leadership are all the latest failures from unrelated industries like Burger King or some other cr-p job. The after hours work of calling customers and fixing the scheduling the planners can't get right reduce your hourly pay to min wage or worse all to work in cramped spaces in extreme heat and cold. Seriously, layoffs are not the issue, retaining people is their big problem.
Just checked VSP
Centene is a such a trash company, 11 years here and the offer I received was horrible. Sarah thinks this route is the best way to go, she is going to lose a lot of people. She needs to pony up and pay her share of destruction she made. Shame on her
I'm relieved I got let go last week
My boss made every single day miserable. I'd take the income hit over dealing with his leadership any day.
The most incompetent and disloyal CEO incorporate America arrives at Truist.
Disloyal, sneaky and incompetent. Does the Truist boatd want to tank their stock?
Verizon Loyalty Program - Now that's an Oxymoron
You have already branded yourself Verizon - sleazy, money grubbing sociopaths. This is regarding every person involved in firing people who did deserve it. Just following orders is NOT an excuse. Find another job instead of enabling grifters.
Fiserv Board of Directors to be nominated for worst pumice company Board (ever)
They presided over more than $100 BILLION of value destruction and continue to enjoy quarterly catered chicken lunches and nearly $350,000 in annual fees.
Dell is a Morally Bankrupt Company
The management and executive leaders at Dell lie, cheat, steal, take credit for other's work, and basically walk on the backs of their employees. It's worse than I've ever seen it. Tell me I'm wrong.
Does Takis keep Dhivya around??
Hope not, she has ruined FIG and it will be a drag to the financials for a long time because of her inability to lead
Great Leaders Lead By Example
Therefore, I expect Sarah to be the first to take the new Voluntary Separation Program. But we all know she won’t. She got totally outplayed by the Trump administration and now far too many are going to pay the price for her ineptitude.
At least he can't be worse than Frank
Right? As bad as Mike was, he was still better than Frank.
Takis was a partner at McKinsey
This spells nothing but doom for employees
Mike L
Mike is a gentleman but too much damage done by Frank. He can’t fix.
Takis is a horrible choice, he was groomed by Gibbons and didn’t have a role for a year after hiring Fiserv. Yes, Gibbons!
The Takis and Dhivya show will take FISV to $20/share. The chick Kent differentiate between workflows , automation and AI.
This company was at the top because of how prior CEOs before Frank respected their workforce, a reboot is needed.
Lyons leaving - worst ceo ever
Destroys all value and jumps ship
Dell managers a just policy holders and slide jockeys
At this point if you are a manager in Dell at any level they have totally castrated you. Managers are HR policy holders, responsible for budgets and slide jockeys. Most of our management team is no longer technical and the people that are left kiss a$$ and say “yes” to pretty much anything.
Some love it, most hate it and want to get out. The scrum at scale debacle was finally scrapped but my favorite is that absolutely nobody was held accountable. This was a big driver of these changes.
Next AI as an excuse to just lay off more people and our managers will have to do it.
Dell stock is soaring for now but layoffs are on the way. Which will include a significant number of managers. This company has gone to he-l and the people in charge are destroying it but are too greedy and selfish to care.
You know a company is awful when....
You know a company is awful when the employees get excited for layoffs. But you have to ask yourself, why do these employees feel like a layoff will save them? Payouts are chump change. A 3 year employee gets 6 weeks pay. Is this changing your life? Please don't hate the messenger... I suggest that if you are unhappy, then take matters into your own hands and apply elsewhere on your days off. VZW forces you to walk the line of happiness and integrity, all while making you jump through hoops. Use this job as a stepping stone. They don't pay you enough for this emotional abuse. The dirty little secret is that you won't find financial independence and be able to build the life you want working here. I can guarantee that this job has no future and zero career path. The sooner you accept this the happier you will be. Managers & Asst managers sit in back rooms secretly talking about their disdain for their entitled employees or arrogant district managers, all while hating life and wishing they hadn't invested so much time and life energy being stuck where they are. District managers find ways to either cheat the system or don't even know the systems and live the "do as I say and not as I do" fake lifestyle. This is not a solution to life's happiness. The leaders that do make good money blow smoke up your butt so dont be fooled by their happiness because its coming from the green you will never see. All jobs teach you something, and this job teaches you that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. You just have to listen to your inner voice that has been telling you that you should move on. Don't be afraid. You deserve better... or if you stay, you probably haven't learned your lesson just yet. You will learn this lesson at some point. You are in an abusive relationship, and you deserve better. Be brave and don't wait for your "partner" to break up with you. Verizon hasn't and won't change. You are settling. You are being used. This job is set up to use you short term and then replace you. That is all fine and good in its own right but you have to play the game. You won't find any life long employees. Don't allow the fake kindness and occasional smile limit what you deserve. Take what you can from Verizon in the form of educational assistance or the limited financial gain it presents till you can make that next move to something that offers long-term happiness and can lead you to a better life. It's out here. I promise. ❤️ To all the haters of this message - I lived each step of this message and I won. I have receipts.
Sick people in charge
Do you have the impression that your current managers in this company are psycopath ?
I hate this place
I hate what's being done to it. I used to be proud working here. Not anymore.
Lack of support
I was a Team Lead over the years. My biggest difficulty was non-support from my manager, directors, and VPs. We were stuck using tools that didn't work, and there was no funding to fix them or get better ones. Processes were stupidly designed, and nobody wanted to improve them. Great ideas are all shot down. Even cheap ideas are shot down. But we can cut thousands of jobs, fund a Mclaren race team, get g2 a $200k watch, etc.
Bumped from @mr+1kt16ne3e.
This company is absolutely f&cked
Senior management have absolutely no idea how to run a tech company.
They repeatedly try the only playbook they have, which is to cut costs by laying people off whilst paying consultants millions to do their jobs, which seems to be simply latching on to the latest hot topic and hoping that fixes everything.
Here's an idea, why not try actually investing in the businesses you own rather than trying to bleed them dry.
Anyone else notice the number of good senior people jumping ship recently?
How's future forward working for you Stephanie?
Biggest Mistake
Personally, Cameron bringing in McKinsey will be his legacy and what he will be remembered for.
Someone got into his ear and he took some bad decisions.
Things feel different. Way more now since the WP closure.
Something feels very odd with WP folks. The upper management level seems fake and really trying to cover up something.
It’s just bad times right now.
Maybe someone with ba--s that reads this site can walk into Cameron’s office and bring him to reality of how things are. Well, I can at least pray!
