I'm wondering if it is too late to volunteer at this point? Too late? Lists at point of no return? I know not too many here have a crystal ball..but some may.

What will happen to one's STI if they are RIF'd????
Given that we are at the latter part of the year, does anyone know if one's STI gets paid since we have already hit our goals committed for the year, even if that means a prorated rate, I don't know if that happened in previous RIFs around the same time period???
Vacation Days Paid When Rif'd?
Just curious..... When you get laid off, does Verizon pay you for your banked time off or use it or lose it?
How much do you work as a lame duck employee (post-RIF)?
Say you get RIF'd on 11/20 and have to work until end of Dec. How productive are you expected to be during those final 3-4 weeks?
If you had projects you were planning to finish before end of year, do you still complete those? How much effort do you put into offloading your work to another employee? Are you still expected to follow the 3/2 hybrid?
Or are you basically just doing minimal work during this time, and not coming into office?
What have you seen from lame duck employees in prior RIFs?
RIF's
All managers of sites concerned have been told to make a list. Voluntary RIF Notifications to go around the end of November to early December with terminations taking place by mid to end of January. like before people will be given the option to voluntarily apply. The candidates will be chosen by the end of December and people will be notified the beginning of January
If I get RIF'ed, will the companies I'm interviewing at find out?
Will my experience certificate mention this anywhere? Will the other companies find out I got RIF'ed via background checks? Or will I be asked to drop my papers, and it'll look like I resigned?
Deer Valley AZ RIF
Income RIF at the DV AZ USA location. Expect 20% of directors, managers, and employees to be laid off before Christmas
The best thing Microsoft could do that would favor the public’s opinion
Microsoft should declare a 100% RIF at their Redmond Washington campus. Have all those employees move to St Louis Missouri where Microsoft can buy old buildings cheap for them to work in.
Microsoft should then donate the land to NASCAR where they can bulldoze down all the buildings to make room to build a Daytona 500 size race track with a full grandstand and a runway on the infield for Lear and Gulfstream jets to take off and land.
If Microsoft accomplished this the public would start having a favorable opinion of Microsoft then they do now.
RIF or VSP benefits?
Traditionally RIFd folks get 1 paycheck for every year they worked. Folks who took VSP got 3 weeks. Would be nice.
Are they taking volunteer for the RIF
I am beyond retirement age and I have made it known that I volunteer for a RIP package. Do you think anyone will pay attention? Save a young guy, RIF me!
Switching carrier after RIFs
How long does Verizon let you keep the 50% employee discount after leaving? I upgraded my phone earlier this year, so I’d still owe on that, but I’m trying to figure out how long the discount stays before I lose it. Any former employees know how it works?
Contract service manager R.I.F
The district manager told my boss (area manager) that he is going to have to cut 1/4 of the 1st level managers. Does anyone know if this is true? I recently switched from a local manager in construction because I thought contractor services would be safer and I wouldn't have to deal with OPT's. Now I am worried because at least before I had people that reported directly to me. Has anyone heard anything concrete? I'm seriously considering volunteering because I cannot handle the stress. My new job is so much better than when I had to babysit union OPT's but I'm afraid I made the wrong move going to "supervising" contractors.
Parity in the rif package
Directors and sr. Directors are getting 30 months package for leaving the company. Others will get max. Of 12 months package
How does it usually work? Does anyone know from past experience?
If you get notified that you are included in the RIF. When will your last day of work be?
Will your severance package be paid out in tax year 2025 or 2026?
Will you get to look for other positions inside the company?
Any other wisdom you might have to share.
Plymouth, MN numbers.
Have they announced expected numbers/departments for RIFs at Plymouth?

Contractors or Just Employees
Will the RIF impact any contractors, or just employees?
“Happy thanksgiving”
Doing this the week before a major holiday makes it more depressing. Not just for those on their way out but for the peers who are left behind to pick up the pieces until the next set of RIFs. Put us out of misery and tell us sooner
Any BA reports / rumours?
I keep seeing post about RIF's / layoffs / etc, but wondering if those have more to do with local field maintenance technicians and not Building Automation staff.
I haven't heard of anyone in the few hundred people I deal with on a monthly basis getting let go. I'm not based out of any major hub.
Surprised not more reports of RIFs
Certainly glad to hear it. I just thought we would have heard of more cuts, especially within Ambetter. And especially within Ambetter BH. Certainly hope it holds up for everyone, especially this time of year.
RIF 950
While we don't know exact count, rumour and water cooler chats are a buzz about ~1k cuts at each location / BU.
Majority of these are are level 6,7,8, squad leads, scrum masters and few 4,5 to make it seem random "business strategy alignment"
Sick joke, FU Bob 🖕🏻
Get ready ladies and germs
Severance package was updated effective 11/1, that other poster was right
It's gonna be a fire sale.
Layoffs weekly
Lol now Dave Shull is gone hahaha great job ruining Poly
RIF Incoming
Talked to two Grade 8’s - both in FI, who are extremely confident that there will be some sort of RIF this month, maybe 11/18. Sounds like a sizable cut.
Another person I used to work with in PI Phones, high up, confirmed. Anyone else hearing anything?
who cares if you get riff'd
hey if you get riff'd ,theres nothing you can do,pick yourself up and move on crying about it on this site does nothing for you.

Tech layoffs
Some DPAIO folks are gone as of today. At least one VP and one SVP included. Is this part of a larger RIF this week?
Case Management / Customer Chamption Team
Anyone here anything on Case Management / Customer Champion Team? Will there be any RIFs for them?
Non-bankruptcy options ahead?
I am not saying CH11 is or is not imminent. But more actions are ahead. Some potentials:
- More RIFs and firings
- Changes to the severance policy to reduce total payment obligations
- Avoiding pension fund contributions, forcing 0% lump sum option
- Sale of the company
- High risk schemes like selling our IP, reducing Microsoft license levels, buying auditors
Next round coming up
I have a very trusted connection to a manager who is connected to a SVP in North TX and there is another RIF coming up mid-late Nov. Each time they have told me it’s been true so I’m guessing this next one is as well. I don’t have specifics but it’s a good number of people. If you have any PTO beyond 40 hours use it up cuz they won’t pay you for it. If you get past this one plan on applying for a new job. I don’t know how they can keep cutting so many and still function. I wonder if the C-suite gets wind of sites like this and reads the impact and disgust people have for them. People just want to work and make a difference and get a paycheck to live. Not get all involved in drama but here we are loving our teams but hating corp. it’s sad.

So Uniti lay off levels reaching a size to push Windstream employees to switch the online community group to a new URL subdomain is happening, time 2 upgrade the crew to a bigger, better telecom layoff group. Why complain to ex-co-workers with Uniti, when there are ample AT&T RIF'd doinks to gripe at. And Verison, and Frunteer, and Tmobile, and
Sincerely,

Low quality service: Alumni@xerox.com
Has anyone been IRIFed and attempted to get basic questions answered using the only available method (alumni@xerox.com)? It’s insane - a ticket is created, no reference to the original question maintained, non-responsiveness other than auto-replies, more. Or is it just me?
Rif today?
Anyone know how many impacted? Also seems they're getting rid of 9/80 schedule
Fiserv to be acquired?
Lots of buzz on this or they might end up selling one of the two - Merchant vs Financial - lucrative stock price!!! save the ship from sinking while Franky and his gangsters sip some luxurious wine, watching sunset from his beachfront villa , laugh it out on hard working associates who are about to be RIFd big time !!! What a shame s**ky Franky
CST OU RIF this week 11/3/25
Anyone received the Business Update meeting invite?
Good luck everyone.
Comms Layoffs
Riffs afoot. Ditch the human element, instead let AI write Nike comms. MG wasted no time.
Any news re HouseCalls RIF?
Does anyone know anything about plans for RIF in HouseCalls department? It’s nerve wracking to see all these layoffs.
Why bother RIF if you have are hardworking?
We all know the answer, it's the lazy and d-mb people at top with no idea about the work we do.
Funny thing is, they are in control of the list again.
In Office Policy & RIF non-directional locations
Is it true the that Verizon wants to RIF most employees in non-directional locations in late 2026 and 2027 as part of the broader strategy to go lean?
Now that we have three main directional locations, Dan wants to accelerate the plan to shutdown real estate in non-directional locations (cost reduction), make 5 days in office and then start removing the employees in non directional locations. Of course some key ones would be asked to relocate.
This is probably not the case for the RIF this month but coming in 2026!
