I don't think we'll see another major round of layoffs anytime soon based on the pattern. But you should still keep your resume ready.
Would a pay increase change how you feel about RTO?
For me, the biggest issue is that RTO is basically a pay cut in disguise. Between gas and all the other extra expenses, it adds up fast. If they gave us a pay raise that covered those costs, I honestly wouldn't mind it nearly as much as I do now.
When did merit stop mattering?
I keep asking myself when things started going wrong. I've been here long enough to remember a time when this company actually valued its best employees, when merit actually meant something, and when the people who worked hardest and produced the... — read more
Still selling Love?
Anyone remembers that L.O.V.E. is a registered TRADEMARK (!) of OpenText? I remember that James or Tom, when asked about RTO, said "if you were with your customer till 2am, no one will expect you to be in the office the next morning ".
Just the facts
I'm not getting all those discussions whether it's now over, the wfrs. You don't listen or what? We are only two thirds through the costs savings program. One third is still ahead of us. Source: CFO, Q3 investors call. Do you think one third can be... — read more

Global Mobility - still a pain?
Taking all PTO together this year but it’s not enough for my needs. I need an extra week or two - manager says they can permit remote work if it’s a short duration but with RTO 5x from Sep 1, I’m worried 😟 This is for North America. Will HR &... — read more

WW Sales & Partner Ecosystem Made an Oopsie
Did anyone else see that the WW Sales & Partner Ecosystem accidentally sent out & then cancelled a call for July 9th today? “Send invite out on July 7” and “(FY26 AE → FY27 CE or C-SSE)” are part of the description. I’m glad I thought to screenshot... — read more

Whenever we get a few weeks of peace, I still can't breathe properly. The anxiety is constant these days since I know what's coming eventually. This is not a healthy way to live.

Update on upcoming layoffs. July 3 is a US Holiday
I'm not sure how they will have US layoffs when July 3 is a holiday. I checked in talent central. I work for SMBC and I think they are still doing financial projections or have a buyer that doesn't want to pay. I hate this company and hope I'm part... — read more
