They even drafted a roadmap of how they envision this would take place. What are your thoughts about this move? I guess, this is mainly will affect technology but looks like some businesses will be included in this madness as well.

Anyone else have people in their office pack stuff up, and told they’re being moved to telecommuter status?

I am in the Richardson office and a large number of people were abruptly told we’re moving to telecommuter. I’m happy, but don’t understand the urgency or the decision process.

Unsure on details though. Layoffs? Decentralized and moved into LOB? Both? Something else entirely? Regardless, supposed to be big changes.

It's too much expecting things to improve when it's not just one thing, it's everything. Change the leadership, but if we still have the outdated systems, the processes that require I jump through fifteen hoops to get something done, and the nonexistent morale among the employees, thing will hardly improve. This place needs a major overhaul, top to bottom.

Heard the Legg Org is reviewing virtual ‘exceptions’ and they will need to be rejustified for approval. If not approved, must report to home office. Anyone hear anything similar?

The recent job title changes were not a coincidence - these were done to setup an easier transfer of staff to Cognizant.

DT is funneling free cash flow to build their AI center with Nvidia. Watch for bigger changes by Q3, cuz there's not much more cuts to be made at this point.

Things are changing.

Just as we get going, we have to pivot to something else. There's no way to be successful in such an environment and I'm getting pretty tired of it.

A change freeze is starting on the 24th. No clear reason why in the email.

Messari CEO Eric Turner has stepped down from his position. CTO Diran Li is now taking over as the new CEO. The company also implemented a reduction in its workforce. This move supports Messari's new focus on artificial intelligence. Turner will stay on to advise the company.

What are people expecting to happen in the coming months. With new CEO and next earnings call do you think there will be layoffs and changes.

Doubling down because they've already poured billions in, not because the payoff is certain. But there's a major cost and a lot of pain waiting for us at the end of this. The disruption is going to be massive on so many levels. Sure, efficiency sounds great on paper. But one of the really bad outcomes, the one not really talked about, is the loss of invaluable accumulated skills and competence. The people who actually know their stuff, who understand the systems and the history and the nuance? They'll be pushed out or made obsolete. And once that knowledge walks out the door, it's not coming back. AI can generate answers. It can't replace years of hard-earned instinct. But by the time leadership figures that out, the damage will already be done.

I think we can safely say that we now know exactly as much about more layoffs as we did before the earnings. Yes, we have some numbers, and we know some changes are coming, but when it comes to when, where, and how many, we're still in the same exact position. Great.

Anyone know if the JE calendar was updated for the rest of the year? I heard there was something in April? If IT is really moving toward a 70/30 HIH/US split, it seems like there will be quite a few more JEs coming up. Low key hoping I get the axe 😬

I'm hearing some chatter about re-org in March. Specifically, I am hearing March 23rd being thrown around. No mention of layoffs but usually re-org is synonymous with layoffs. Has anyone heard anything or have anything to share. The is for STS/CET.

My impression: it's time for a change.
Raul has changed the Exec Board, tried a lot of things. Nothing helped.
Now a new leader will be looked for, with a new approach, new cronies.
It might take some month still, but I got a feeling the exchange of the CEO is inevitable.
