Did anybody else watch AP's President, Erik Lindhjem's message? It sounded like layoffs are coming from the way he delivered his news. It sounded like AP business isn't doing so well.

I'm not sure I'll be able to do anything today. I tried sleeping but I'm so nervous and over-stressed that I couldn't. I'm honestly not sure how I'll make it through the day, especially if cuts really do continue. My team was not affected yesterday, so if there's more, chances are we will be.

It was said before and it needs to be repeated. Our management levels are bloated and need to be thinned out. Layoffs are needed, but they keep targeting the wrong people. Focus on managers who do nothing and we'll be golden.

And also while no one is paying attention to us (really no one is) let's hire more Cisco folks who are washed up and were on the list for LR (go look it up).

I've been here long enough to have noticed a pattern. Each year, around this time, there are cuts. It's not a massive round, but it's always something. A few people here, a few there, but it always happens like clockwork. If you've been here a while, you know what I'm talking about.

By the way get ready for another lay off by the 29th Monday.

We're always seeing more cuts, fewer benefits, managers who know they can do whatever they want, and so many other things. This place fell so far so fast.

Rumors are flying about layoffs in July. Anyone know if this is real?

A veteran employee here with twenty years in. The cuts years ago felt justified. There was real fat to trim. But these days, terminations are just about finding the easiest way to reduce cost at the cost of some of the best employees. Morale is at an all time low. Worse than anything I've seen before. We need new leadership and a whole new direction.

There were always cuts, that's part of the business. But I didn't expect the culture to change so completely and so fast. I swear, it became toxic almost overnight. The environment is now completely unrecognizable. It'd almost be fascinating, if it didn't affect us all so much.

Canada Post is laying off dozens of managers. This move aims to save the company money. The organization has experienced severe financial losses for years. Three senior executives were dismissed last month. The chief financial officer was among those terminated.
