MM leaving Is this real… or are we being pranked again?

Serious question: is this an actual leadership change… or just another episode of “nothing to see here, carry on”?

Because if you’ve been here longer than five minutes, you’ve seen this headline before. Big announcement. Big promises. Same results. Now we’re being told the MM exit is happening in July.
July??

So we’re just supposed to sit tight for a few more months and pretend everything is fine while the same dysfunction keeps running? That the damage they did to people didn’t happen? At this point, it’s not even skepticism, it’s pattern recognition.

Let’s recap what employees have actually experienced:
• Constant churn
• Strong people walking out the door
• “Transformation” that somehow makes things worse, not better
• Leadership narratives that don’t match reality on the ground

And now we’re supposed to believe this time it’s different?

I think the real internal reaction is:
“I’ll believe it when I see the calendar hit July… and even then, I’ll give it a week.”

Also—genuine question—how much did this last year of “strategy” actually cost the company in lost talent, momentum, and dollars?

Because that’s the part no one ever addresses. If this is real, great. Long overdue. But respectfully… employees aren’t celebrating yet.

We’ve learned, we have the scars, the damage has been done and we will pray for the future org they fake their way into.

Pharm Systems Downfall Continues

Heard that Pharm Systems is at it again. Another wave of VPs and executives leaving. Others (barely any) updating their LinkedIn profiles to "Open to Work" and probably asking competitors for job openings. Europe, US - they're flying out faster than Tom&Jerry in their private jet to Jackson Hole. The sales organization is wiped out - a printed picture memory at this point. The people who actually knew the clients, knew the product, and knew how to close - gone. Last I heard, they now have project managers hunting for device business. Let that sink in. Somewhere along the way, politics ate strategy alive. Then came the massive bonus and commission cuts - looks good on the quarterly report. The PnL is probably on life support by another travel ban. Then Services? Handed to people with 0 experience whose previous team was actually taken apart and promptly set on fire. Those of us who got out are just sitting here with popcorn, watching, and waiting for the "Pharm Systems Acquired By..." press release to drop.

No layoffs?

Xbox has new leaders today, now that Phil Spencer and Sarah Bond are out — and you’d be forgiven for assuming that means yet another round of layoffs and shuttered studios, especially one day after Sony jettisoned a beloved developer.

Sampath out with the Golden Parachute as Dan S guts prior regime

So.. Verizon's head of its consumer division, Sowmyanarayan Sampath, is stepping down?? Or was he asked to leave??
When ole Danny Schulman stepped into his role in October he helped approved a $4 million payment for Sampath to retain him in his consumer CEO role. While he ordered Verizon's biggest-ever round of job cuts in November of 13000+

So… who’s the next head to roll? Which former PayPal person is coming along the Danny ride??

Prayers have been Answered! Ferris is getting the boot!

Well, it’s finally happening. Word from the top floor is that SF is officially getting the boot.
An exec (who shall remain nameless) confirmed that the Board of Directors spent most of last week in a "closed-door" session. The vibe was tense, and the topic was simple: the stock price is in the basement and someone has to take the fall.
It’s not exactly a surprise. The whole "AI on top of legacy tech" pivot has been a total disaster. We all saw the Zafin integration turn into a massive headache, and it looks like the Board finally lost patience with the "trust the process" narrative.
Expect an "official" PR-friendly announcement soon, but we all know the real reason why.

Kristi Moody OUT

Kristi Moody, the legal brain who said it was OK to spin off the REIT, and that we'd win the lawsuit that we actually lost and put us into bankruptcy.... Has left the building.

A casualty of restructuring the department.

Adios Kristi. Best of luck in your new endeavors.
