Anyone else hear that the lease was not renewed for the WF San Leandro location?

Main Street Sports Group expects to close its St. Louis office. This action will result in 25 permanent layoffs. The company issued a WARN notice to state officials. Layoffs are anticipated by April 14 across various departments. This follows the St. Louis Cardinals' shift in broadcast rights.

Once we move out of here and into the new Plano HQ we will truly miss what we had down here in the heart of historic downtown. It was a very cool place to be, lots of great restaurants, and the connections made here working over the years. When you visit the AT&T Discovery District you feel as if you have teleported back into the 1990s when people used to dress up and go to work. It feels like such a cultural and historical place. There is so much nostalgia and that makes me a little sad.

There has been whispers for the last 18 months of at least one of the Irish sites closing to cut costs. But only one of them is actually owned (Limerick) and Cork still has manufacturing which leaves Dublin on the cutting block perhaps. Anyone else heard similar?

Some BLM buildings will close, everyone will work out of Corp South. It’s expected that there will be information regarding being in-office more.

It’s clear Dan and the board are focused on cost and the location strategy is dead. No point having offices only 30% full and paying 100% cost. Further rifs are going to reduce sites below critical mass. So which ones are in danger?

Our leader, Jeremy (Give Me Some) Legg announced a fews weeks ago while here in Bothell, that we would be moving from 7 & 8, to some other location. This was proceeded a couple months earlier with a survey asking if we would like to have an office closer to amenities and a would be willing to drive extra for it.

Now we are faced with moving to a new location , possibly 30+ minutes further away. This might be ok for some but not for those who live close by or west of Bothell.

The bigger question is: why would at&t do this? The NTC is in the same complex as 7 & 8, we own the buildings, and we have plenty of desk space (newly upgraded). The parking su-ks if you arrive after 10 am but food options are not that far away if you like to eat out every day. We recently got out of all the leased building in Bothell and Redmond and moved everyone here.

So, when they move us out to a new leased building, what happens to 7 & 8? Do they get sold or leased to another company?

In the mean time, ~2000 Bothell employees get displaced and moved to a leased (temporary) location. It is only a matter of time we are told that since we don't have a permanent office space, our jobs have moved to Dallas. Bye bye Washington employees.

It seems that FIS Belgrade office is in disarray. Lot of people were fired and morale is zero. It seems they are probbly going to close the office. Almost everybody there is trying to escape

It's clear they're either going to gut it or tear it down, it's just a matter of time. Why else would they have only like 3 (above ground) floors in service? It's weird hearing about how some functions don't have desks but we've got 10 empty floors in 220. This feels like a metaphor for... something.

having jana partners onboard is a excellent choice. the though decisions will finally be made. non critical assets will be sold. the staff bloat will be addressed and all of these satellite offices will be consolidated. and the ceo gets to play the good guy. this thing might actually turn around

Why are the six Sabre offices closed tomorrow (Thursday and Friday)?

Over 44 jobs will be eliminated from the Southport location alone. The layoffs affect various roles, including management and engineers. These permanent job cuts are expected by mid-April.

Uniondale office has been used since early 1990s. Leased space trimmed down year after year to what is only one floor now. “Rumor” says entire location closing 9/1 with notice to be given 6/1. Take the Long Island railroad commute to NYC or resign. Approximately $5000 annual cost. No word if it’s 200 Park Avenue (Grand Central station) or downtown Greenwich office (train ride, subway ride, then a few block walk to the building). For most in the building commute will be 60-90 minutes one way when currently it’s 15-45 minutes. Best estimate is this affects 300 people, all of whom are well aware of the “rumor”. Also “rumored” is the closing of the Franklin Avenue location of wealth management (20-30 people?). Progress tells us to be robotic commuters, sit in small desks in a football field sized environment, everyone wear the obligatory BNY vest or Eliza jacket, whisper so as not to disturb colleagues, watch higher ups use their offices, never get a glimpse of the C suite, arrive early, stay late or be subject to ridicule. Leave home at 6AMish arrive home at 8PMish. Sounds attractive?

Plano announcement did not include Los Angeles in list of hubs. Lease is coming up with DTV. There was mention of a new office, is that still in the works?

Atlanta is in the beginning phases of planning mass relocation letters to Plano once the new campus is open. It may make sense to start looking for a house ahead of the forced relocation!

Let us get some idea about how many people got discouraged and have left the company. Only like the post if you left the company or are in process of leaving because of OPO closure.
