I'm a relationship banker at a truist branch. I got a licensed banker role with chase and will be giving notice next week. Does truist typically make bankers work out their last 2 weeks?

I feel like I'm wasting away here. No growth, no recognition, no point. Just dragging myself through each day. I'd leave in a second if I had anywhere to go. Truist is making me hate everything.

What’s going on in Wealth? Just heard today that some layoffs happened quietly in late 2025, but more are coming.. Specifically to Trust, not TIS and this will directly impact central/eastern NC.

I don’t think Truist has enough office space to fit everyone. I traveled at a few of their office locations(ATL, CLT, Raleigh/Greensboro). It doesn’t look like there is enough room. Especially in the Charlotte office and the new Battery location.

Just curious if any impacted teammates have received SIREN notifications about the status of their offices/branches tomorrow.

Things were just so much better before this "merger of equals". We had to adapt to inferior BBT policies and procedures and technology despite the lies of choosing the best options.

Tons of cops, building evacuated for hours, teammates who were unable to grab their laptops stuck in the parking lot. Drones flying over the building…and not a word mentioned.

Does anyone realize once you are laid off you will not be rehired. Doesn’t matter who you know. There is a systematic shift to not rehire. Make sure you are good to go for years before letting go of your job!

This will cause a big drop in bank revenue which will cause a lot of layoffs. Why anyone would work for a bank at this stage is mind blowing. The bank model for human workers is shrinking by the day.

Any chance they’ll offer these in 2026?
