PIP OR Layoffs… NEVER BOTH

I joined this fkn company cuz of the defined benefit of plan because in my mind it used to offset the PIP/PDS bullsh-t we have to do every year. Well Atleast they don’t do layoffs right ? I mean even tho the PDS system can be biased it can never be soo biased and merit must count somewhat right ?

Now they do fkn PDS/PIPs and do layoffs AND the raises are sh-t. So can someone please explain to me how does this make imperial better than CNRL/CVE/SU ? Fk being equal, I think imperial is the worst of all of these.

Oh and we don’t get company wide bonuses.

Protest filling out OHS survey (bonus for managers)

Do not fill out the OHS survey. The only reason executives are constantly pinging everyone to fill it out daily is because this ties directly to their bonus metrics. The higher the response rate, the more bonus/goal they meet. Hit them where there wallet it is they seriously want to have our voices heard and that they are held accountable for their poor leadership.

Wealth Management Bonus

I am interviewing for a marketing position. Can someone please provide me any numbers on the bonuses that wealth management marketing receives. The salary is little bit higher than what I am making. HR mentioned the bonus % is anywhere between 25-40% of base salary. This is for SVP position.

Kroger is offering severance

To those affected by the last round of layoffs, Kroger is planned to offer severance.

Personally I was in KTD but they are offering 1 month per yr and x percent on your bonus plus any remaining time off.

I expect to receive the documents soon so I don't know how this effects unemployment claims. Please check your state and read before you sign anything or get a lawyer first.

26 weeks of part pay is a plus but it may be less than your severance so you may need to pick.

Be advised they are not withholding taxes on your severance so account for that yourself or your lawyer (preferred).

Sycamore Rumors and Changes

Things I’ve heard and seen posted on their sites. I’ve definitely heard about the remote workers being laid off if they don’t relocate, and the multiple support center layoffs. I’ve also heard about 2-3 days back to the office, not 5, but I guess we’ll see.

  • Removal of FTO
  • If you aren’t at Walgreens when bonuses (if we even get them) are paid out in November, you won’t get one.
  • Switching to Business Casual, no jeans or sneakers.
  • 10/20: Remote Employee town hall informing them to relocate or they will lose their job.
  • 10/21: 10% support center workforce reduction
  • January: 30% support center workforce reduction
  • January: 2-3 days in office but also heard it may go to 5 days in office

Grow Up!

Yes, last week su-ked. And like you, I’m nervous about what’s to come. But let’s not kid ourselves or rewrite history. When the pandemic hit, this company didn’t toss us aside while the economy melted down. We kept our jobs. Some of us even got cash bonuses for basically existing. The same leadership you’re busy demonizing today signed off on that. Funny how that part gets left out.

Now it’s fashionable to cry about the CEO’s salary. Really? You likely knew this was a multi-billion-dollar health insurer with a millionaire CEO at the helm when you accepted your job offer - or when you CHOSE to keep working here week after week. Just like it doesn’t stop you from filling your cart with garbage on Amazon, or ordering overpriced coffee from Starbucks - who, by the way, laid off 900 people last week. Yet, I doubt anyone is forfeiting their Starbucks Rewards in protest. Outrage when it’s convenient isn’t principle, it’s hypocrisy. If empty outrage paid the bills, many in this forum would also be millionaires by now.

And here’s the part nobody likes to admit: nobody is chained to a desk here. The front doors aren’t locked. The exit signs glow for a reason. If this company or corporate America offends your conscience so badly, go build your own empire. Put your brilliance to work. But don’t pretend that bi--hing and moaning are unique skillsets. They aren’t. Babies are born crying. Sadly, some toddlers never grow out of it – then get jobs at this company.

The reality is simple. This company has tens of thousands of employees. Only a handful were let go, it seems. If every single chronic complainer in this forum quit tomorrow, the company would replace them and keep moving. No strategy would collapse. No customer would notice. The machine doesn’t need you (or me) - or anything you have to offer - to keep turning. You are not special. Whining here for validation from other whiny anonymous nonspecials is just sad. And if that feels harsh, it’s because deep down, you already know it’s true.

My heart goes out to anyone whose job was impacted and anyone still worrying - especially those who looked here for answers only to wade through the rantings of people who shouldn’t be part of this workforce, or any other. Good luck!

EXTRA EXTRA! is ILLEGAL to tell Employees how many hours per day to work….Period

The facts are WFC is using this site to drive a narrative and fearmonger. The Schart does not keep his word. Employees need to STAND UP BOMBARD THE DOL, Regulators, POLICYMAKERS, AND FRIENDS. Report all the nonsense you are experiencing.

Remember ALL YOU SALARIED EMPLOYEES , IT IS ILLEGAL FOR THEM TO DICTATE A SALARIED EMPLOYEE’S HOURS IN OFFICE. STRAIGHT FACTS!!!

Stop letting them treat you like high-school kids. You are professionals. Only thing that wells ever did good qas exploit loopholes since THE Schart joined. This company has become unamerican.

PS, don’t accept any awards. The Terms upon acceptance could be hiding things like how the bonus is paid out etc.

You are professionals, make them treat you like one already.

Email was not for us…

Message Was to the markets and other industry leaders to justify the upcoming price increases to employer plans. Also to justify the massive 43M CEO pay. Clearly Savings from “the modest adjustment” barely match these massive pay and bonus c-suite increases. Aluta continua

Truist wealth

How does this help us? Good people let go! Can’t get an account open in a week so let’s move the problem over here. I don’t think that will help. It’s all a mess. I think this makes it worse. Upper management doing something to justify their jobs and take big bonuses while ki-ling shareholder value. This place is great.

AIP estimates

Why do they stop publishing the quarterly AIP estimates? Anyway they report quarterly earnings to Wall Street. Any reason for not telling its employees on quarterly basis AIP?

Should I just retire or wait 5 months?s?

42 yo male in Dallas....got $1 million cash...$1 million 401k/ ira and $100 k in roth and no bills (house paid off worth $700k or anything) ...wife works and 2 kids 17 and 11. (529s worth about 120k and 80k)..

Really sick of extra work for being efficient...probably make 20% more than co-workers but do more complex work projects and easily 40% more work...started here 4 years ago from compitor and have 23 days pto which really su-k and no more vacation for another 6 years...I want to quit and retire but going to get like $13k 401k match on last day of year and like $45k bonus....do I just quite / retire and stick it to management OR just do bare minimum and refuse complex projects until late February or do I just do bare minimum stop coming in and see how long until they fire me? My guess is we are so short staffed I could keep job for 2 to 3 years just so long I do minimum work...

Thoughts?

SHOULD WE SCORE AK'S PERFORMANCE: "CEOs Are Less Likely to Be Scored Below Target"

CEOs Are Less Likely to Be Scored Below Target

In addition to higher average annual incentive scores, individual CEO outcomes were much less likely to be scored below target and performance modifiers were less likely to decrease CEO outcomes.

As shown in the figure below, 31% of the aforementioned U.S. companies had below-target corporate scores vs. only 13% of individual CEO scores. Additionally, performance modifiers were four times more likely among S&P 500 companies to increase than decrease CEO annual incentive outcomes.

Meanwhile, 39% of S&P/TSX 60 corporate scorecards were below target, but only 26% of CEOs received below-target scores on their weighted component. No Canadian company used a modifier to decrease the annual bonus.

It’s about time for STIP payments, and…

…crickets.

For those who don’t get quarterly bonuses (like CM3s), this is the time of year we have been waiting for. Some sort of proof that the overwhelming workload and complete lack of recognition was at least a tiny bit worth it.

But still nothing announced. Except maybe that “merit” increase, small enough to be insulting.

FIS is F&cked

Whilst spewing all the latest buzzwords and talking BS about future forward, client centricity, win as one team etc etc. the senior management hasn't got an f ing clue how to run a business.
oh sh!t, my bonus depends on a good revenue per share number. I don't know how to generate recvenue so I'll take billions of revenue and buy back shares whilst sacking the people who make the revenue, that will secure me another $20 million bonus!
Here's am idea, how about joining the team, taking a bonus cut and letting people who know how to run a business , do it? Instead of paying consultants millions to do your job!

No BFIJ Contest Winnings Yet?

There was a huge push for sales performance across the company over the Black Friday in July 2025 sale and NO ONE who performed well over that weekend has been paid their sales contest winnings! Since July!!! I fear Wayfair’s plan is to fire many of us before they need to make those payouts. Our hourly workers make well below the poverty level in terms of pay. Many make such low pay their families have to seek state food aid and Medicaid to care for their children. We work hard for those contest winnings to offer our families something special outside of a super tight household budget. Just a really sad insult to hard working people.

I read this past Tuesday that lost their fight for Stars ratings

I read this past Tuesday that lost their fight for Stars ratings. If this is true, that means no bonuses from the MA plans via the government, which in turns to lighter pockets for the "suits & shareholders".

Of course, the trickle-down effect from this will be taking it out on the employees, more RIFs, ERP, whatever.

Oh, and the Total Rewards email that some of you are talking about? Yeah, it's total BS, totally! Definitely a play to "try" to get more to jump ship.

IF Humana is following industry standards, they need to FITFO as to WHAT UNC is doing so well that their stocks jumped & their stars ratings have massively improved.

Cheaper pay for same roles

Looking at internal jobs and they are hiring for current roles at a grade lower with lower pay then what we are paid now for these roles. Are we being set up to be laid off or fired so they can replace us at lower pay? Are they gonna lay us off and make us apply for these roles to pay us less? Will any of us that make it through layoffs getting a bonus or raise?

Risk Roles Experience in Charlotte, NC

I know its not a layoff post but I'm genuinely curious anyone here work in the Charlotte area for a corporate function? Looking at risk roles and understand the 5 day office thing but also hear no seats and new hub is coming in 2026. Is Charlotte actually a hub? Not trying to onboard and then get told to move to ATL or Dallas. What's the day to day experience working at T? Can anyone explain a Principal title in terms of where in the org that sits? How's bonus, benefits, time off etc.?

No March bonuses

All of these unrealistic budget projections and talk of losing money is so they will not have to pay out on our bonuses. the 1st step in figuring the amount of money toward bonuses is company profit. It they company loses money, there is no profit, therefore no bonus money.
You should never count your chickens before they hatch but especially dont spend your planned bonus money because it is all but a given there will be none to very little come March 26.

HPE Offers & Increases

Seems like the offers are lesser compared to what we make at Juniper. From today's meeting, seems like the next pay cycle for us doesn't happen until end of next year.. They kept talking about such a huge number for bonus funding.. has that been really the case or is it just on paper.. anyone knows.. ?

Even if you get an offer, seems like we just have to hang in there until we move out..

I'm getting more and more detached from this combined team...
