Dear BNY employees who are eligible: how do you feel on that initiative?

EMEA commissions statements are typically ready on 6th-8th of the payment month. January looked like an outlier, being the 9th. However, as of 10th April, there is no statement for February.
So, what happened:
Lack of respect for employees by Oracle - the gift that just keeps on giving.
Missed it yesterday. Did she have anything good to say?
Just curious
Yup that’s Nepo spelled backwards. Market leaders getting jobs because of Nepotism. Go Wells Fargo
Remember when you could read the Company's Annual Report and know exactly how much the Company earned in the prior year?
It's interesting I don't see anything in the press... closing call centers probably means hundreds of people are gone.
Any trickle down effect for this? Looks like some people on the list is a surprise.
And those in other offices too, are you being ask to relocated to Bellevue, WA as well?
HS gets booted as CFO and no comments? What's going on?
Why do people act like working at Truist is their life’s purpose? It’s not. It’s a job. Check the box. Collect the paycheck. That’s the endgame. Your “team” is just a bunch of strangers you’d never know or interact with if survival didn’t force it.
Meanwhile, in places like France, people actually get it: grinding at work is not something to brag about. Hard work is overrated. So stop worshipping Truist like it's holy!
I have heard that a very high up person basically confirmed to some people that they have plans to bring everyone in 5 days a week starting this fall. Has anyone else heard this?
Down another 6% today, can't drop much further now without default risk on debt and being taken private
That’s why I watch the Masters on company time.
After getting HR approval to post a req for a backfill I have, was recently told NO hiring can happen until at least May if not FY27. So, I had to close the req and stop interviews. Also, awards budget was the smallest Ive seen in my many years managing. Something substantial is on the way folks, so hang on.

Now I’ve seen it all! Clown show
What are ways to in all technicality adhere to RTO rules to the letter, without breaking rules, but still fighting the micromanagement mandates?
Some Ideas
Boycott TTUS
Log into office early (in office IP tracking) and run errands in the morning. Long lunch breaks while logged in.
Requiring your manager to attend all meetings in conference rooms (in person collaboration is important!)
Being in office only the exact minimum required. Tbd - maybe 6.5 hours?
Switching seats every day with reservations in Reserve me and kicking people out of their seat they forgot to reserve
It would be a shame if someone brought one of those fa-t sprays and it accidentally went off or if someone accidentally left fresh fish they had planned for lunch in a drawer over a weekend.
I'm not surprised IP tracking happened. That seemed inevitable, but retroactively changing RTO targets after employees were working toward a previous set of expectations? WOW. What kind of company does this sort of thing? Let alone a company that shouts to the heavens about its ethics awards won. They have set the stage to change targets again in the future and retroactively juke the stats. These people are shameful and have none of it.
This is truly unbelievable. What an unserious bank.
Almost every team I have interacted with has mentioned they have an exception to RTO. Are there any teams who have been given the deadline to accept RTO? What does that entail, timing, severance, etc?
Who is going to take the heat and lose their job for such a shortsighted decision, Short-term savings, long-term losses, penny wise, dollar foolish or buying cheap leads to losing money (Yasumono-gai no zeni-ushinai) learn that phrase!
With the corporate split, two major parts of HON that have high barriers to entry are now their own companies. It seems all Automation wants to talk about is software, AI, software, AI, software, AI, which any startup can also sell in. Is the “innovating by powerpoint” finally going to come home to roost, no longer able to hide in the conglomerate?
You're gonna need it with your new CIO.
I know of at least 2 people in our office, but there are probably more.
Those "quick business update" meets should be either out by now or coming out soon.
Don't take the Tell Dell survey. It's a waste of time. They manipulate the feedback anyway plus it's not anonymous. Too many stupid people at Dell who still think it's anonymous. It's not.
There's a new survey called FU-K Dell! Take that one instead.
Manager warned us in a team meeting that execs are taking RTO extremely seriously, and implied they’re looking for people to layoff because of it
Walt Disney Co. is preparing for job eliminations. These cuts will occur over the next few weeks. The move follows a streamlined management structure. Many layoffs are expected from marketing department consolidation. Disney faces declining revenues and smaller streaming profits.

Cisco has decided to completely destroy its sales channels step by step. The frustration is enormous not only among business partners but also among salespeople. Every two weeks they raise prices, there is no strategy, the products are overpriced, and the worst thing is that there is really no listening ear at Cisco.

GE Vernova, formerly a part of General Electric, spent $70 million to buy a distribution center in Rostraver last month, adding to the Massachusetts-based power generation equipment manufacturer’s strong Pennsylvania presence.
Westmoreland County property records show GE Vernova subsidiary GE Renewables Grid LLC purchased the more than 700,000-square-foot property from Gordon One LLC.
GE Vernova, which is headquartered in Cambridge, Mass., was created when General Electric split into three companies in 2024.
GE Vernova did not immediately respond to questions about its plans for the property along Finley Road known as Amcel Center Two. The company leased about 150,000 square feet in the building prior to buying it.
The upper management class has finally lost it. They want the employees to snap. We should get together and give them just that. Don’t fight amongst each other. The real enemy is all of them.
I came over from Express last year and work in FPS. This place is a complete and total insane asylum. My TM is ok but they have the look of disgust on their face every time I see them. The SMs and CMs are complete and total check the box re-ards. Bad people. This department has no structure, is backwards in everything it does and the workload is ridiculous. All we do is clean up Proximities messes and have stupid work load expectations. We were told the other day in a meeting that almost 80% of the people in this department have been here 2 years or less. Do not even consider coming to work in Fire company. This place is just soul ki-ling he-l hole. I'm interviewing and just trying to find anything and I will leave. My friend that came over with me quit when she got her EIP. Already got a job not in insurance! SF is just an evil company, pure trash!
I want to remind everyone here the actual power you have.
They are scared of you, all of you.
In 2018, a bunch of women spoke up with the metoo headwind with mostly unsubstiantiated claims, it collapsed the entire SLT
in 2024, JD was forced out after that embarrassing zoom call after employee protests.
EH is spending a fortune on PR and comms to maintain a polished facade.
Every move they make, every crocodile tears, every belligerent action they conduct is coming from this fear.
These people are horrified of mass protests, walkouts or another JD moment.
That is why they float the layoff dagger over your heads to scare you to inaction while they cash in their cushy checks without doing anything.
The emperor has no clothes
Wonder what the agenda items will be?
If anyone knows later today, please share.
What happens when you go on these plans? Metrics are ridiculous. Being faulted over something that is not in your control.
The company eventually achieved the Grand or GRAT target of 50 billion.
Well done, you may have sold your sole to do it.
Now, well the market is always hard, and these businesses, International Footwear and Apparel are competitive, fickle, and were roiled by COVID and Now Tariffs.
A managed teconstruction to a profitable 35 billion dollar firm, with International Licensees, like China would certainly serve TAK better.
Please someone convince me why Oracle doesn't implement return to office policies. David Ellison has made his companies go back for 5 days a week. Most of the other big tech companies are at least hybrid. I feel like they want us to leave, and man this would REALLY make me leave. It's our only remaining unique quality :/
