McKinsey is the devil and Jonathan Riguad is their Dutch plug. They are the epitome of if GPS told them to turn right into a lake they are surely drowning. Abysmal

What does it say about my Ford group and manager
When few people in my group knowing who I am? Several actually have apologized to me when asking what my name is again because they forgot. I’m wondering if anyone would notice if I don’t show up at work.
Quitting week 1
Can I quit in 1 week? Do I need to give a notice? It is really horrible here. My manager might make me do 2 weeks. Really crazy person
New Mexico sales and account management hit
Or everyone is leaving voluntarily in the worst job market ever.
Which one could it be
AEST TMTS MFS
In the cold light of day, how can employing green employees with no experience in another part of the world, add layers of management, kpis, traffic lights, scorecards, layered fu--ing engagement , QC by expats etc etc , ever be better than recruiting and developing talent at manufacturing sites.
Never.
Fu--ing id--ts.
Over 10 years they've been nothing but an overhead.
So top heavy its pathetic
Why the F do we have a Chief Growth and success officer?
We're so top heavy its laughable now
What an embarassing situation for them.
The Illusion of Fairness
To those people who somehow benefited from this broken system and still call it totally fair: of course, it looks fair when you manipulate the system to get the outcome you want. Sitting in that room and assigning a rank to individuals is the very last step of the show management directed. Let’s break it down: you purposely put certain people on specific projects or tasks, you protect some individuals no matter what, and you advocate for the golden ones while someone with no membership in the cult works their a-s off and still gets nothing. God forbid not protected ones have had a tough year; does management apply the same compassion they apply to the golden ones? I doubt it.
What is the work from home policy at dish?
Is it based on your manager? Or is it a strict no-no?
CWA-represented workers at Xbox criticize Microsoft management and pending layoffs
Microsoft employees who are members of unions represented by the Communications Workers of America spoke out against management and the pending layoffs at the Xbox division today.

My store is a joke
The management keeps promoting people who don't deserve it in any way and they prove how unqualified they are for their position within months. Does that change anything, though? No. I don't have to explain to you how that works out for the rest of us. I hate this place.
Pointless middle management
We have too many people between a task's start and its finish. Too many people get in the way of completing anything in a timely manner. I swear, it's almost Kafkaesque at this point. Removing several layers of middle management would improve the workflow immensely. Sadly, I know it's not going to happen.
Fiserv in a nutshell
Rolling out AI into servicenow when servicenow still has ongoing performance issues. Rolling out more and more rules and enforcing with a heavy hand when we don’t have enough associates to meet deadlines with the current rules.
When did HCL become incompetent
I would imagine they used to hire bright people, has the push toward lowest cost left this company with nothing but bottom feeders and incompetence?
Manager survey
Does this even matter?
Also I'm curious does this survey go to all associates? Or does the manager select a few designated pets who take the survey (which doesn't seem accurate as I am far from a pet lol)
My manager despises me because I ask him tough questions instead of having a "yes sir" person
My three biggest issues with Oracle
People who take credit for things I did and then getting promoted based on it, managers who keep making false promises but never actually delivering on them, and cowardly managers who never bother to stand up for their people. I know for a fact this is not just my experience and the fact that it's happening to plenty others shows there's something deeply wrong with this place.
Resignation
Can any managers chime in on handing in resignation with prescheduled PTO? Do they just say you're done and don't bother coming back after your vacation?
This is why Verizon su-ks at M&A
They buy a company for billions of dollars. They lay off all the experts that grew that company to billions of dollars and in their place put in Verizon cronies that have no clue how to run the newly acquired business. Then they are all surprised when it all fails. Buy the company, keep the experts and cash in. It’s not that hard…
India Telecom going the way of Polaroid ?
Looks like T got rid of all their talent so they could end up like Polaroid . Same dead management style, same ending . Loaded up with cheap H1B labor because that seems to be the new "in" thing. Thats innovation right there . Push bright intelligent people to use AI so that they can start buying tokens from another company eventually. Thats a real future lol. Looking at the stock price , some would say T is about to slip beneath the waves.
Slowing Agent Changes
I laughed out loud when I watched KC's video message last week saying SF is now decided to slow the rollout of the Agent contract changes. Just another evidence of the incompetence of this executive leadership team. Sounds like someone didn't do their homework or anticipate how badly agents were getting sc--wed. #eggonface
Fake Glassdoor reviews
I see HR are flooding Glassdoor with fake 5 star reviews. This seems to be a regular pattern, if there are a few negative reviews, usually complaining about a toxic culture and useless management, then HR kick into action in order to try and preserve the ratings and continue trying to con people that this is a great place to work.
Help
Does any manager regret promotion someone capable but does not sit well with general team (70-80% of the team)?
Asking because everyone has been nice not to escalate things to HR historically but hearsay someone without ethics, morale, integrity is going to be promoted as a manager soon. We’re afraid of what’s to come because this person only manages up, spreads falsehood, rumours, manipulates by twisting words to different people privately. No doubt this person is capable and can do maybe 4-5 people’s work but the character is really dubious. Some teammates has actually left the team because of this one pax but current manager choose to ignore and continue promoting.
I’ve heard that IT might be sabotaging themselves and pretending to have problems just to fix them and keep their jobs
Is this true?
The Myth of Global Impact
When I was still young and naïve enough to believe hard work actually pays off. After the initial PDS review and all the excellent feedback, money savings...I expected top rating. Instead, I got a VG “above average.” I was so disappointed I took a couple of days off. During the PA communication meeting, they told me I didn’t have “global impact.” I asked my manager what that even meant, because I wasn’t assigned to any global projects, that was completely outside my control. He walked me around the floor, opened a huddle room, and said, “See? There used to be only one monitor here. I asked them to upgrade to two.” he also asked to" replace chargers because people complained about slow battery charging in the huddle rooms."
Seriously? These are administrative tasks. Do you really need a PhD and research assignments to do this?
Flatten the Tower of Useless Titles
ExxonMobil is stacked with unnecessary layers of management, and too many people hide in those layers instead of doing real work. Flattening the organization would cut costs, eliminate pointless hierarchy, and force people to actually earn their salaries. A leaner structure would improve accountability, reduce inefficiency, and stop the cycle of managers managing other managers who contribute nothing.
Healthcare services shake up
A reliable source mentioned that there will be a radical shift or shake up in healthcare and managed accounts. Getting rid of lots of dead weight employees and removal of on site techs and managers, as to reallocate them for other purposes. Information is coming in slow and in bits and pieces. Beware.
Belk is a run down hovel
My store has
- Rodents
- Lack of a/c
- Filthy carpet and fitting rooms
- No working price checkers
- Tremendously understaffed
- A disconnected, not present store manager
- A RVP who is in the store maybe once a month if that, for like 30 minutes
- A lack of handicapped accessible fitting rooms, isles, and restrooms
- A parking lot with pot holes big enough to swallow your car
- mold and mildew
- Leaking ceiling in office
- Plumbing issues
- No safety and security protocols that actually make sense and help managers and leads/key holders

The Secret Reason Bosses Want Everyone Back in the Office
"Ordering people back to the office full time is a power and status move. It's a signature strategy of leaders who exhibit narcissistic qualities, Adam Grant, Marissa Shandell and Courtney Elliott write. "They see any kind of remote work as a threat to their authority and admiration. They want to be worshiped at the office altar." https://nyti.ms/4uWqZhq
My mid year thoughts
These are my random thoughts in no particular order.
First if you were impacted then I feel for you and wish you the best. Just understand average employees are paying the price for some terrible mgmt decisions made over the years. It’s nothing personal you did wrong. Some of the best workers I have worked with have been at this company, but they are not valued.
Today I learned the company will stop paying for home internet for certain grades. The penny pinching continues on top of job cuts. It’s not a good sign.
This year has been brutal with cuts , the employee survey scores are in the dumps. My personal opinion is things will slow down before another “right sizing” in October.
What should you do? That’s up to you. Some people say to me they are actively looking and will bail if they get another gig. Others say they won’t leave without being forced to with a severance.
The stock is up slightly but the company is circling the drain imo, the core problems have not been fixed . You should consider what boat you are in from the above paragraph. I’m not sure there is a right or wrong answer. I am happy to opine on any question you may have.
Ps. I’ve read the other threads and I can confirm management in OI is poisonous and vindictive
The WOW moment leaving
I used to like working at First Data for the most part. When frankserv took over it went downhill fast for both companies. There was constant frustration, ridiculous policies and mismanagement. I have been out of this place for a few months now. My wife commented how much I've changed for the good since leaving. She said I am back to being man she fell in love with. That was WOW moment!!!
Layoffs in SDS but VP costs high?
SDS layoffs every 4 months but it costs over $500,000 to fly and lodge all SDS VPs and CIO as none of them live within 1000 miles of office. Is that wrong?
Are managers trained to come off as je-ks?
The managers I’ve dealt with always sound condescending, micro managing, and pushing extra hours.
Are they trained like this? Cause they su-k
Disappointed
We are like the New York jets!!!!!!! Too many upper managers managing their careers instead of the business!!!!!!
Death by metrics
Unless they add a time in the cr@&$er these level up and rev up metrics are gonna ki-l my team

MD Leaving AI Hub and replaced by NH
Ugh eyes roll… late joiner comes in and takes credit for “engineering 2.0” and now gets appointed head of applied AI with zero qualifications. This place runs on PowerPoint decks apparently
Why are all the 10-25 year Sirius CEs leaving?
Why are there so many Sirius sellers leaving, or left, the company? CDW is hemorrhaging all the 20 year customer relationships? As a CDW seller, I was assigned a lot of these accounts, that came with very high quotas and they don't want to do business with me. My management said these all would be easy accounts to farm and my income would double. I am starting to realize CDW management doesn't understand why customers buy from who they do and most of them that I know of never had a job selling directly.
Optum Selloff Strategy
I want to preface everything with the fact that I have no idea if they’re actually planning to absorb minimal tech resources into UHG and then sell Optum. This is just a rumor that I read previously on this site.
I have two questions:
Does anyone know if this rumor has any merit?
If the rumor is true, how do you think they’ll draw the line in the sand? What teams will stay and what teams will be sold off? Will it be split by leader, onshore/offshore, etc?
I genuinely don’t know what outcome would be best. I’m just kind of curious if I can predict where my job will land.
Passing out opinions like lollipops
Since when does a company have almost every single person in the building make a decision on even the littlest things? The higher ups, like ML and that whole lot, have better things to worry about than half of the stuff they have to “approve” before anyone can actually move forward with their jobs.
Have a little faith in the people you employ, and maybe focus more on idk maybe a cohesive brand????? We’ve lost the plot entirely
Enshitification Mantra
If we make the product just a little worse, profits will increase by 3.9%.
Rinse and repeat, every time a new exec takes reigns.
With time, all your products are sh-t.
