Still at Kyndryl and hating it
I know it sounds odd considering the state of the job market, but I keep hoping I'll be on the layoff list. I'm too chickenshit to quit, so having them make the decision for me would be perfect. I was excited when we were spun-off, imagining great things, but I was brought back to reality fast. Now all I want is to be out of here.
Why does every year here get worse?
We're always seeing more cuts, fewer benefits, managers who know they can do whatever they want, and so many other things. This place fell so far so fast.
Being laid of is liberating
I went from being terrified AI bubble was going to burst resulting in me losing my job to losing my job anyhow, changing the industry, and now watching as the bubble strains, eating popcorn and cheering for all of those who got rid of us to lose everything when it happens.
Low Reviews Due to Bell Curve Rating?
An Engineering Director here told us to prepare for low reviews because managers are being forced to rate everyone on their teams using a bell curve, and there is no way around it. This means that even if some people are meeting expectations, they may still be placed in a “needs improvement” category. It feels like Oracle may be preparing for the next RIF or encouraging attrition. Has anyone else heard the same?
Project Chicken Biryani
Anyone heard about this one? They say there are going to be layoffs to turbo-optimize specialized growth and maximum pivots for shareholder value , but I can't think of where else they could possibly do our highly specialized work from.

Don DoNothing - CTO's First Dialogue
This clown really writes this end of day, while they leave executives and senior management in place with absolutely no clue of what they're doing, canning some actually decent people today who were helping the organization which they canned on a whim. We hear nothing from this guy and this is the first thing that comes from this useless guy after the last useless CTO leaves.
Team:
This isn't an easy note to write, but I want to be transparent and open a dialogue with this team. Earlier today, a small but targeted number of colleagues learned that their roles in our technology organization were eliminated. These were not performance-based decisions. These are people who have given real effort to this organization and I want to acknowledge that as well as share with you the context behind my decisions.
If you are reading this and your role was not impacted, I want you to know: I do not take you for granted. And if someone you respect and have worked alongside every day is leaving FIS today, I want you to know: I did not take that lightly.
The structural changes we're making - moving work closer to engineering teams, embedding agile practices and technical product ownership where delivery actually happens, and integrating documentation and performance work into our normal delivery model - are the right moves for where we need to go. But right moves can still be hard moves. When we reduce coordination layers and consolidate how work gets done, I know there are real people behind those roles who have contributed meaningfully to this organization.
I want to be specific about what changed and why, because you deserve that clarity:
Agile coaching is moving from a standalone function into the product and engineering teams where those practices now live day-to-day. The discipline isn't going away - it's becoming part of how we work, not a separate layer.
Technical product management is being realigned to engineering teams so ownership sits closer to the teams building the product, with leadership layers removed to reduce handoffs and improve speed.
Documentation and performance work is moving into engineering as a core part of delivery.
These are targeted changes. The vast majority of our technology colleagues are not impacted and their day-to-day work continues. But I know that when people that you have worked alongside are suddenly gone, it affects you - regardless of whether your own role has changed. If someone in your team or in your network was impacted today, take a moment to reach out. Their work mattered.
I know this can be difficult. But the platform we are building - an AI-first, resilient, scalable technology organization - is not a future-state aspiration. It is the work in front of us right now. And the talent in this organization is more than capable of building it.
I will be holding a town hall to answer your questions directly. Your leaders have resources to help you navigate this transition and I've asked them to create space for open conversations as well.
Thank you for your commitment to this work.

To Execs and Mgmt and Board
We know someone is reading this...I heard today "this is the last one this year" this is the 3rd time this year I have heard that. That is why you are not trusted. It is that simple. I know why you tow the company line. You dont want to be next. Grow a pair and stop lying also.

Can it get any more disrespectful than that?
Financial engineering for leadership lunacy
Financial chicanery doesn't cover up Accidenture's big ugly blemishes... years of strategy chokejobs, all-around leadership idiocy, and reactive Indian bodyshop-style layoffs (woe to those who roll off a project for any reason).
Real leaders deliver shareholder value through organic growth and cost containment, not buybacks of their toilet swirling stock. Employee incentives and enrichment? Long-term operational improvements? Real leadership and strategy? Na! Better to artificially prop up the dog$#!+ stock. Better to make a few high profile acquisitions in search of a rationale at the expense of loyal, long-term employee pay and bonuses.
Do Julie and her so called leadership really believe this toiletpaper thin PR cover-up for their horrible planning and utter absence of strategy is protecting them from accountability? Tick-tock, tick-tock...
My Plan (Leadership Pay Attention)
Here's how people can push back against this.
If layoffs start happening, and I'm one of the people affected, I fully intend to create a presence on YouTube, Rumble, and TikTok focused on the layoffs at Centene and the broader issues with how the company is being managed.
I'd invite former employees to share their experiences (I am sure I can came right here to get folks to speak out) —what it was like working there, how the layoffs were handled, and examples of poor leadership and mismanagement. If I end up getting laid off, keep an eye out for it. Also if I don't get lay'd off please feel free to use my idea!
The reality is that when enough current and former employees speak openly about their experiences, it creates public accountability. Companies pay attention when their reputation, recruiting efforts, and public image are affected.
We've seen major brands take hits when unpopular decisions became public and consumers pushed back (Bud Light and Gillette). The same principle applies here. It's especially relevant when a company benefits from federal and state subsidies while making decisions that negatively impact its workforce.
There was a time when employees had very little ability to challenge this kind of behavior. Today, that's changed. Social media and online platforms give people the ability to share information, compare experiences, and bring issues into the public spotlight.
When enough people tell their stories, it becomes much harder for leadership to ignore what's happening behind closed doors.

Total confusion.
So I was part of the group on March 22 that was RIF’d but then forced to stay working until end of June and then quickly extended until end of August. It seems like the people RIF’d today are done as of today. I want that deal! Trying to stay working on the titanic is brutal and not good for mental health. Who the he-l is making these decisions?

Laid off with less than 30min notice
Got pulled into a call with my manager and told I was laid off with 25min before access was revoked. That's nowhere enough time to handle critical knowledge transfers and other responsibilities. What is the plan when things start falling apart tomorrow, next week, next month? I was leading a critical governance and compliance team, what SHOULD be one of the last ones to get laid off, let alone without any warning or plans.

Any word on layoffs?
