Massive reduction in force aligned for June under the code "restructuring". Starting July, company will operate under a completely new model. Won't get it into it here, but huge paring of middle managers (team leaders) and entire functions run under separate teams eliminated. 15 - 20 percent of workforce, to include all levels, VP, directors, IC.

A second wave of layoffs today start this afternoon! After the processing completed this morning, they have prepared another 10k to be let go this afternoon folks! Brace yourselves. I’m sorry if you are impacted.

It's going to be so many people displaced today. You know when your Boss's Boss's Boss is visiting your site there will be layoffs. People will be leaving in droves. Mass Exodus. Shut it down and carry on.

Is anyone else losing a bunch of offshore resources, due to the renegotiation of the contract with Wipro? We're losing six people at the end of the month, as a result of it.

The biggest layoffs are coming in 2 months

First we got a WFR announcement. Then a CEO resignation. Now a bunch of site closures.

What else can we expect of a dying company?

Layoffs were pushed back a bit due to the NDA project along with another project but from what I've heard, layoffs are to be expected starting 3/6 and to go until 3/12. Rumors have it that ISG/CSG will be hit fairly hard along with low performing sales folks.

I noticed at the parking garage in Irving today the company has added “Lot Full” signs to a garage that is almost always empty. I took this as a harbinger of 5 DOW RTO.

It's going to be he-l waiting and guessing if my location is closing. I like my job. I've been here for seven years. I hate even the thought of having to look for something else. We might not be the most high volume store, but we're doing well enough. Should I be worried?

Who's ready for March layoffs?

If so, what groups have been hit so far?

Not sure how true this is but my director said they heard rumors - just rumors - that a 10k WFR is planned for the next 3 months. At least half of which will be in February and March. I do know they are part of a leadership TEAMS chat because they told me so. I asked which orgs were being hit, or likely to be hit and was told that from what they have seen in the chat, ISG, CSG, Sales/ISR's are being targeted, along with higher level Maverick folks.

Anyone from the APJ region got their meeting invite regarding WFR? Most of the recent WFR's I've heard are all in US or EMEA. Wonder how APJ is doing.

They failed to pay my last salary. I left Dell on my own terms and they haven’t made the last salary payment. Never could I ever imagine I’d have to start a debt collection process against one of the richest companies in the world!

Anyone get The Call?

I was just thinking about the upcoming WFR and how historically it's always been the same few departments that get hit hard. Those departments don't exactly hold much - if any - truly sensitive data I think? idk, to me it seems like certain departments rarely ever get hit due to what those employees do and posses?

I am a bit surprised that you don't hear of companies having their internal sht released publicly and/or to dark web type sites very often. I'm sure it happens all the time but I'm not one who keeps up with that stuff so idk.

A network engineer for example could release a massive list of internal network maps. Those who manage firewalls could release the entire rule base of what is in the firewalls. A person in sales could release a list of clients they have, or clients they won't work with possibly, etc... Or maybe someone who works with PCI stuff releases a giant list of customer names/address's/CC info?

In my mind I think anyone who does that is stupid, first of all. But those who do it I suppose do it for a profit? Which still seems d-mb because I feel there is a high chance of getting caught anyways.

Dallas-based financial services company Comerica will lay off 184 employees at its Frisco location as part of a reduction-in-force, according to a notice sent to affected workers.

The layoffs will take place at the Comerica office in the Frisco Star Tower, located at 17 Cowboys Way in Frisco. The notice stated that employees impacted by the reduction in force are expected to be separated from the company beginning March 13, 2026.
