Associated Press plans to establish a new production hub in India. Executive Editor Julie Pace confirmed this move will likely lead to additional layoffs. The hub aims to scale both video and photo capabilities globally. This initiative is set to impact current U.S.-based production staff. AP previously laid off 20 U.S. journalists and offered buyouts earlier this year.

WF had several major waves in July of recent years (considering the 60-day notice leading up to the 9/30 bonus eligibility date). Any inside scoop on the upcoming 7/7 and 7/21 layoffs? Anything different this year or it's just business as usual?
Hackett Pavilion 1 & 2. Are you kidding me? When nothing is named after Mulally, it shows you how insecure and id--tic leadership really is.

Why does belk have a New York office if they don’t have any stores in New York, or even a footprint in the Northeast?

SAS is having an event for retirees, weeks after the company-wide celebration, to which we were not invited. Much of the success of SAS is due to the great work of retirees. If we come to said event, we have to pay for our own lunch! Seriously!?! We get to listen to stuff about the latest stuff that ki-led the goose that laid the golden egg, and after all we did, they won't even spring for lunch for us?!? In contrast, there is a mid-October event, independent of SAS, for retirees. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2885607674835420/posts/27527959706840208 I think I will attend the latter. Hope to see you there. I'm sure SAS only cares about the present and the unfortunately bleak future, but shouldn't they have some respect for those that contributed to their early success?
Is it the same as the last time? No changes?
What level of pain do you anticipate your PL will inflict upon you after your VSP is denied?
You work for the oligarchy. You will deliver.

Congrats to T Leadership for tanking AT&T Stock to new 52 week low — looks like all the layoffs, corporate real estate selloffs and cost cutting is paying off. Only T executives could get paid millions for running the company into the ground.
Maybe its just me but multiple large group calls have been cancelled this Wednesday and Thursday. I get its the week of the 4th but would it be crazy to think layoffs could hit this week too? Or is it July 15-16?
Corporate re org now LCM gone? Or redundancies more likely?
