Best example I have seen is the small plastic sculpture that has replaced the previous nice bronze sculptures on wooden bases.

Its time to show out appreciation
I have been thinking of things I would like to say or do to show my appreciation for people like Cameron or Laurent. They have given us so much. So last night I went and got a whole bunch of taco bell gift cards and I will send one a week to them. This way these two can keep sh-----g on us for the rest of the year. There is not enough toilet paper in the world for the two. Frenchy should go back home and cameron, you may want to consider just resigning, the stockholders have lost more money on your decisions than they will ever recover. I promise if you two do leave, we will have a proper send-off. We could either bring in some pizza or maybe do another one of those virtual happy hours we all loved. Dont worry about the expense. We can use some of the money you saved on raises this year by canning people right before the merit increase. Nice move dou--ebags. Have a great weekend and make sure to ask for extra lettuce when you order your lunch. My hope is I will be the one waiting on you when you come in to order. I'll hook you up with an extra chalupa.
Oregon Health Authority Reverses Layoff Decision
Oregon Health Authority leaders have canceled planned layoffs for nine employees. This decision comes after initial announcements and internal employee concerns about management's handling of budget issues. The agency cited ongoing discussions with the Governor's Office and state budget partners for the change. While these specific layoffs are averted, the agency faces significant future budget challenges and potential service cuts. The exact size and cause of the agency's budget deficit remain undisclosed.

London Dr-gs Cuts 80 Positions
London Dr-gs has announced significant layoffs affecting approximately 80 employees across its chain. These reductions primarily impacted full-time and part-time supervisor roles at various store locations. The company cited the need to remain competitive and adapt to evolving economic conditions as the reason for these changes. This move follows a period of challenges for the retailer, including previous store closures and a cyber attack. London Dr-gs stated its commitment to supporting affected employees through this transition.

Don’t drink the kool-aid!
If you work for belk don’t drink the kool-aid served by upper management and executive leadership, people of a certain age will understand this reference.
Has the foundering begun?
If Project Dolphin is backfiring and employees are no longer being forced between re badging with a vendor or severance (not enjoying that at all, nope), how will they be able to pay off everyone? The remaining Franklin Templeton legacy staff that was scheduled for layoff on 04/27/2026 was re badged over to other Transfer Agent mutual funds, were told that there was no time certain for their continued employment. They were needed to support staffing that was not meeting SLAs. They keep training them to handle more mutual fund clients because even with this talented, tenured help, they are still not meeting goals. It seems likely that they will not be laid off, but who can tell? No savings there, either. Because the business math ain't mathing, Project Dolphin is failing. FIS cannot outrun their sh---y leadership. Glug, glug, glug.
Stop Pleading. Start Acting.
Look around. We see the same story repeated daily: broken lives, shattered families, and a machine fueled by corporate greed that crushes anyone in its way.
And yet—people still believe a heartfelt post will fix it. "Dan, look into this." "Board, address that." As if they haven't already made their decision. As if they're waiting for our input.
Let's be honest: that hope is delusional.
You don't reason with a system that profits from your pain. You don't negotiate with people who got to the top by ignoring empathy. They wear human faces, but they operate like machines—cold, calculating, and utterly indifferent to your suffering.
They monitor these forums? Yes. They have teams reading every word. But not to help. To laugh. Or worse—to ignore you completely. To them, you are background noise. Ants on a highway. Insignificant.
So stop wasting your breath. Stop begging for mercy from people who have none.
The only thing they respect is pressure. Visibility. Disruption. Organize. Build a movement that makes them uncomfortable. Make noise they can't ignore. Get media attention. Force the conversation into the open.
Wake up. Not tomorrow—today.
Because while you're typing another plea, they're counting their money. And time is running out.
Claudeaiandemployee
If everyone gets laid off, who’s left to develop the product and fix bugs? It’s already tough. Also, AI tools like Claude don’t reliably do what you ask.
Inquiring minds want to know?
Could an employee that was impacted come back to VZ in another role or are there blockers? Please no smart answer's.
**Mutual of America -- Labor Complaint !!** Shocking
In early Feb 2026, NYU Langone Hospitals sued Mutual of America's comprehensive health plan over a labor complaint. In 2021, an employee gave labor, and Mutual of America didn't pay the hospital over $22K for the health & care of the newborn baby.
the hospital was in the network but talks broke down & mutual would not budge. this created an extreme amout of anxiety & consternation for several parties.

The case hasn't been dismissed yet so it appears settlement talks are underway.
Anyone going to in 14 days to meet over 60 percent?
13.8 days required this month, so you need to be in 14 days or get talked to.
I plan to just go in 12 days and let it be. It’s freaking 95 degrees where I am at and now the air quality is bad, way too dangerous to suffer in extreme heat and hazardous air just so I can sit by myself and talk to my co workers on team.
Anyone just going to say f it or are you doing 14?
AI & AT&T
No one wants to hire you because, they have AI. AT&T doesn’t want to keep you because you don’t live in hub. What a bad thing to be a T employee.
Terrible experience in layoff
Nobody likes being laid off, but MSI has made the entire process far more stressful than it needed to be. Throughout this process, they’ve provided a lot of misinformation—or just plain incorrect information—to both me and several of my former coworkers.
I originally emailed HR because my 401(k) still wasn’t reflecting my termination. I even acknowledged the expected processing timeline and pointed out that more than enough time had passed. Only then did they escalate the issue, and it turns out Voya hadn’t even been notified that we were terminated.
Then there was the COBRA coverage. We were told Aptia365 would have our subsidized rates available, so I waited. After hearing nothing, I finally called them myself and was told I had to enroll first before anything would appear. That was never communicated.
The fact that so many of us have had to chase down answers and fix issues ourselves is frustrating and disappointing. If a company is going to lay off a large number of employees, it should also be prepared to handle the administrative process accurately and communicate it clearly.
If you’re reading this MSI, go fly a kite. This whole experience is ridiculous and shameful. Maybe don't lay off so many people if you can't keep up with the paperwork required.
Asked manager about job security, told me to stop cribbing.
Is "cribbing" a new US Bank slang? What does it mean?
**Use the thing they keep shoving at us**
Everyone's exhausted hearing the word AI. It's in every memo, every excuse for why headcount keeps shrinking. Fine. Let's actually use it, then. Not to write emails faster. To see the picture clearly.
We used it to pull profit numbers back to the year this company formed. Not a single loss year in over two decades.
We used it to compare executive pay against the exact years benefits got cut.
We used it to see that severance costs are often a fraction of what gets paid out in dividends in a matter of weeks.
We used it to understand who stock buybacks actually benefit, and it is not the person worried about their next paycheck.
We used it to recognize known corporate playbooks: titles structured to strip organizing rights, restructuring that lines up with headcount targets already decided.
We used it to confirm national union density has been eroding for seventy years, and we're living the tail end of it.
We used it to separate real savings from cost shifting, franchise conversions and rehire-at-a-lower-rate schemes that look like savings but are wage suppression with extra steps.
None of this required insider access. It's all public, buried under enough jargon that reading it feels like a second job.
So if they're going to hand us the tool and tell us to use it or get left behind, use it. Educate yourself on the company you actually work for. Don't take what they hand you in a rally with the claps and the p-m poms as the whole picture. Pull the numbers. Pull the board backgrounds. Pull the org chart changes. Do the research yourself, not because someone told you what to think, but because you finally can see it for yourself.
Once enough of us see the same picture, at the same time, the direction gets a lot less complicated.
Reimagined 2027? Prepare Yourself, Apparently
From what I heard, Human Capital basically told leaders to take a training or read a book if they’re nervous about being laid off in the future. The focus should he gaining new skills. In other words, prepare yourself because it could happen. They’re also still playing the “we don’t know” game when asked about the India office. From what I heard, the earliest timeline is T2 of next year. Let’s be honest: with all the regulatory, legal, and logistical hoops involved, there’s no way they don’t already have a pretty clear idea of the plan.
Why is Verizon only reporting under 500 layoffs this time ?
So they are just assuming everyone will take the job at the indirects ? Regardless if anyone does Verizon still needs to own up to the thousands not 500. BTW how many fraud transactions are going to get pushed through if the rep is leaving ? I can’t believe how Verizon handles layoffs when so many will be there for another month. What a shrinkage nightmare !

Thank you for laying me off. No, I do not want to learn about your earnings while I struggle to find a new job. WTH?
Could Dell treat its employees any worse??
I don't think it's possible. I've never seen a company treat its employees so poorly in my career. Dell is a despicable company.
Hans was enjoying Bon Jovi concert yesterday
Does he have any responsibility as a special advisor? Specially it was hard day yesterday
So after the layoff Now I believe we get a Union EISP soon less they wait till September managers next rif
So assuming the Union Eisp will be announced soon .The summer manager riff Is over .So hopefully it’s an enhanced buyout to everyone who wants out .This is possible it could be after September riff scheduled.I just don’t understand how the management continues to operate as if the whole company is not just smoke & mirrors !!!As if the CEO actually cares about the direct reports doing the dirty work like a band of executioners!!Pretty sure the associates that are mostly union have been taking more abuse from the same managers who fear for their Jobs for years .Lets face it from gps tracking to time questioning .When most associates actually have done nothing wrong along with have given no abuse to the management.Pretty sure if I was management I would just track on thru my day as if I saw nothing .Crazy how some managers still go after associates inside and outside for no reason as if the corporation cares about them till the next riff.

Organizations and business partners gutted
I stand here on ashes and ember. Many colleagues impacted, particularly those I rely on to support and drive execution. I suppose someone will figure out how I can push any projects through without them? I will quietly and simply sit on my hands until then.
On the ropes
Verizon employees are on the ropes. How many more body blows can they take before they get knocked out for good. The company is an utter mess at the moment. Employees are shell shocked and trying to keep their heads down whilst wondering if it’ll be them that are laid off next. Running a company based on fear and uncertainty only results in one thing : failure
SDS layoffs for real??
Overheard leaders discussing lack of meeting business needs is hurting SDS & heads will roll. Anyone else hear this?
President's Cabinet
After all these layoffs I might make a president's cabinet next year....
No regrets
I wanted out for a while, so this is doing me a favor. I feel bad for my teammates who'll have more work now, but it is what it is. I leave happy.

July 15, Comany Wide restructure
Multiple people let go yesterday, as part of a \company-wide restructure; total count unknown at this time, effecting all branches of the company aside from SECOPS.
Hungary affected?
I see some „open to work” status from (already former) Oracle’s employees posted yesterday on Lkdn. How many were laid off?
Any update about Poland?
Rising Anti-American Sentiment
I've noticed a lot of USB colleagues noticing that Americans aren't being hired anymore & are upset about that. I see entire floors full of one ethnitity not previously known to our continent. I thought that's what diversity was & we were cool with that! I thought hiring cousins & castemates & taking kickbacks was what DIE (sp?) was all about? Why must people resist letting some others in the global community come-up, my American family has it all already why should yours who may not be as stable yet take-up a spot & income for our unfortunate friends an ocean away?
(Satire about the anti-Indian sentiment post. I swear to God the liberal mind rot sui-idal empathy will end this country.)

MBA Schedule ?
Fellow MBA’s what shifts do you normally work each week?
I now normally get stuck with 2 Closing Shifts , 3 opening shifts
I used to get 1 close and 4 opening shifts when I first moved out of being a CXM
Less closing Was supposed to be a perk of being
MBA vs CXM
And now having AYS , Jewelry and CXC’s added to my list of responsibilities is pushing my buttons
Where are we at?
Have all the notifications been sent out by now?
This company is a joke!
You are only a number… don’t assume anything makes you safe. The current leadership has 1 priority… Slash and cut.. no master plan, no vision. the AI talk is all a cover to layoff and do stock buybacks.. Best of luck to all impacted today and the ones to come…
Ready to own your role?
Please tell me I'm not the only one who finds this phrasing offensive? They're plastering this phrase on every corporate email like a proud child showing off their finger painting. I think it smacks of condescension from the higher ups. Like we're not taking our jobs seriously enough or working hard enough. Also, we don't "own" anything here as evidenced by the fact that they're cutting us loose at every available opportunity. You want buy-in from the employees? Give us job security and fair compensation and benefits, not patronizing emails.
